Honestly, this is the one I’ve been waiting for! I like to RP that my fed captain has a very close relationship with the new romulan Republic, so a fed-rom hybrid ship will have special significance in my game! And I think it’ll look great next too the fed-Klingon ship I already have! I for one, can’t wait for this year’s anniversary!

Lol I have the same reasons, but reversed! My main is my Rom who aligned with the Klingons at first, as he felt that their power, influence, and response speed was needed to help the Republic get a footing on the galactic stage. He, however, didn't despise the Feds at all, and hoped once the Republic had its footing, he might forge a bond with them as well. Imagine his elation when he would play a part in multiple alliances, including that of the Kitomer! However, he is a "newer" actor on the galactic stage, so he missed the opportunity to requisition the original Khitomer vessel, and the Bird of Prey isn't exactly his fancy, as he likes larger vessels, especially carriers. Now that the alliance has announced the Jarok class, I'm fairly certain my toon has found his flagship!

I guess I just looked at it as a Klingon-focused ship because of the similar frame to a bird of prey, but the upward wing sweep is definitely more Romulan than Klingon. Same with this one, the "saucer" at the front is very Starfleet, but that's a D'deridex inspired hull if I've ever seen one.

Nice. I do like the fusion look of the alliance ships. And the double arches of the D'Deridex-like ship really lends itself to being a carrier because of all the free interior volume. I will be happy to add this one to my roster. (My only issue is that 'true' carriers are very underpowered in the game. Every other class of ship got some unique thing but carriers never did. Especially since half the cruisers now have 2 hangers too!)

looks more like someone stepped on a D'deridex and broke the bridge so they replaced it with a saucer section bridge and called it a day XD. Not clowning on the ship by the way I like its design but the first thing that came to my mind when I saw it was that someone stepped on a D'deridex lol.

@@chefmarcg according to Cryptic, it's a science carrier. It has a commander science station and 3/3 weapons slot. Now, without secondary deflector, Commander science station losses it's 40-50% effectiveness.

@@cmdrtianyilin8107 i agree its a science carrier....the "carrier" is the main part of that, you basically trade the secondary deflector for the hangar bays. if you want a science vessel with a hangar and a secondary deflector, check out the multimission vesta. i think it has both cuzz its classed as a multi-mission ship and not a carrier

It could be an entire battle group.

So the Fed-Klink ship is called Khitomer after the treaty between the Federation and Klingons, the Klink-Rom ship is called the Temer after the man who sacrificed himself for the peace between the Klingons and the Romulans, and the Fed-Rom ship is named Jarok after a man who sacrificed himself to bring the Federation and Romulans together. Nice thematic naming.

she looks beautiful, the design and lines are beautiful. this one looks like a federation and romulan ship, its beautiful details, bold and most importantly the nacelles perfectly connected to the ship. with no floating parts apart like the ships of discovery, which I still wonder how no enemy ever tried to take a precise shot at these floating nacelles to destabilize the ship. this one looks like a great job by the federation engineers and Romulan republic. (what will be the universal console of this beautiful ship) let's face it, discovery engineers are terrible at their work.

Besides it not being uncommon that children outgrow their parents in size when growing up... For the other reason, I doubt that either of its parents wasted a thought about that. I really don't like the idea of fighters in Star Trek, they have no place and are pretty useless. I could see a carrier like this being more of an engineering or support role. Loaded with worker bees or medical/supply shuttles.

It's 2411 in game, and the Alliance has been around since early 2410. Also, it would not take nearly that long to build even for it's size - a month at most.
