I saw a crocheter showing her crochet items for sale at a craft market and she showed an amigurumi pig about the size of your hand made with this fluffy yarn that she was selling for $20.00 , I would never buy it for that price but she said people buy it I know exactly what you mean about having too many pieces to sew becomes a chore, especially if you are going to make more than one, assembly line crochet production is not for me, I appreciate your honest reviews, Best regards on your market sales
