Why 3 years old are even bothered with adult stuff??? Let a child be a child. People like you causing the confusion. 3 year olds! If you would be “teaching” my child about issues that she have no capacity to understand simply because of her developmental age and stage, I would report you! That’s outrageous! Let the children stay children as long as possible and stop trashing their brains with “babies in the bellies”. Unbelievable!

@@Craphithefan knowing about pregnancy for 3 years old it's NORMAL, many have their mother pregnant with a second baby around that age, and as kids they are curious about it. I'm one of that mothers, and I don't think it was bad that I told the truth about having a baby in my belly to my daughter. What was I supposed to say? that I ate too much and in some months somebody would leave a baby at our door? even if the child's mother is not pregnant, there is high possibility that at least one of their classroom friends has a pregnant mother or a new born baby, the topic arises and they talk about pregnancy, which is something beautiful. You're making it sound as if they were talking about sex, when that's not the topic at all

Lol they aren’t thinking/caring about that wth?!?! I sadly know two families that wanted the opposite gender so badly and they coerced their kid to become the other gender in order to get attention and love. They are both separate families of my close friends. My friends used to be more liberal than me too and now they have reconsidered their thoughts on things. It’s so very sad that they are doing this to their innocent babies. Our government doesn’t even help them anymore. All I can do is pray for them from afar and try my best to turn things around legally for the future. BTW growing up I was always religious and conservative and had all sorts of friends gay etc. and they knew my stances on things and they were just like oh ok. It doesn’t mean we hate you or wish you I’ll. We love you very much.

I kind of wonder if Jazz's situation could be some sort of Munchausen by proxy where the parent gets all of this attention because they've got a special child. I agree that the mother's behavior appears extremely toxic. it gave me the major ick almost reminds me of Eugenia Cooney's mom, but that's of course a completely different situation traumatizing their child to get attention while simultaneously making them completely dependent on them for whatever weird emotional bullshit they've been pulling

This reminds me of a case from the 60s where a male baby had a botched circumcision and his parents decided to medically transition him into a girl and raise him as such without telling him the truth. He found out as a teen and immediately detransitioned because he was always unhappy as a girl. Unfortunately, he later committed suicide as an adult. It is an experiment conducted by Dr. Money if anybody wants to look it up. Very tragic if Jazz secretly feels the same way...

That was the classic case that started so much of the gender issues. I agree! Messing with the chords can go wrong very fast. I have a paralyzed vocal cord from a botched routine procedure. Had a doc offer to try and fix it, but decided against it because he told me it could leave me with no voice at all vs the very raspy one I’m dealing with now. I love her voice. Personally, I think her voice has softened a tiny bit since I found her a year ago. Imo, if she worked with a vocal coach she might be able to soften it to a more comfortable level. Her voice hits my ear as in a natural range for a woman, just a woman with a deeper voice, which do exist. I understand the comments, I get them, too. Not about being trans, but people will laugh at my voice, tell me to speak up, things like that. Going thru the pandemic sounding sick was a real treat! 😂 But, I am a huge smartass and give it right back to people. The majority of people are very kind and “hope I feel better soon”, lol. As long as she is well versed in risks vs positives, has managed expectations, researches the surgeon I’d donate to her gfm to get corrective surgery. Everything I have gone thru with doctors, my best advice is to avoid them at all costs.
@lindajohnson9282
@lindajohnson9282 Жыл бұрын
Absolutely. It was medical intervention that got you into this situation in the first place - because it’s all experimental - and the surgery to try and correct it is equally as experimental. Not only are you not guaranteed of the desired results, you may be left of worse than you are now, and with more life-long complications. I can’t tell you what to do, but I do hope you sincerely contemplate the pros and cons. If people make you feel like shit because of your voice, make them feel shit instead… tell them that you’ve had surgery for throat cancer, or something… no scars because it was all done via your mouth lol. Watch them shrivel! 😂❤

I'm a boomer trans woman who's had two voice surgeries and can offer some advice. It's important to distinguish between two separate aspects of your voice: vocal cord pitch versus throat resonance. Most trans women start with both masculine pitch and masculine resonance. Your case is different, as you have masculine vocal pitch combined with feminine throat resonance, which is much easier to improve. It is far more difficult to feminize your throat resonance than to feminize your vocal pitch. The first voice surgery I had was a hyoid suspension, where the hyoid bone is surgically lifted in order raise the throat resonance closer to the female range. This was partially effective in feminizing the tone of my voice, but did nothing to change its pitch. I think it's unlikely you would get much benefit from this approach. My second surgery was a laser vocal cord thickness reduction. This was quite effective in raising my pitch range from baritone to alto, and it also eliminated tha falsetto range of my voice. However, that limited my highest pitch to the top of the alto range, as I cannot now speak in the soprano range at all. The results have been not entirely passable as female, but much better than the baritone voice I had before. Both of these surgeries were inexpensive, less than $5000 circa fifteen years ago. I considered more invasive vocal cord shortening surgeries, but they were far more expensive and risky than the route I chose. OTOH, I have heard examples of excellent results from more recent surgical approaches. The main issue I hear in your voice is that you tend to speak in the tenor pitch range, lower than the alto range which most women use and which I now find comfortable. If you were able to raise your pitch into the alto range, I suspect your voice would sound naturally female.

Your fans think you are fine. But you are not concerned about "us." You are very honest about being "misgendered" by other people whenever you speak, and that bothers you. There was a film, "Tootsie" where Dustin Hoffman played a male actor playing a female. I think he took speech lessons to make himself sound more female. He does have a deep masculine voice. And he didn't get surgery. And he did sound fairly feminine. So while you're waiting to be able to afford surgery, you might be able to improve even without surgery.

When a mother goes into a doctors office with her son and says: “Please cut off my son's arm, he says, he doesn't identify with it.” The mothers´ sanity would be questioned. As the doctor, you don't just cut off the arm, if there is no medical reason to amputate. It is unethical for the parent to make a medical decision for their child such as making them infertile, but the doctors shouldn´t allow or go through with it, either. What this story shows us is that some parents see their children as an extension of themselves and think they can do whatever they want with them. In the mentioned example it would be child abuse and should be reported, the doctor should lose their license - not the other way around as it is currently going on. Responsibility instead of cashing out of someone's misery. Thank you for sharing your story, it is really important for people to hear.

I'm an adult woman forced into early menopause due to cancer treatments and I have to dilate or I might atrophy. As miserable and uncomfortable as dilating is, I would imagine her mom doing it for her would create a true gender dysphoria and probably hurt like hell if not actually hurt something. How scary and horrible! I was the same as Jazz as a child. I hated all things girlie from a very young age. I was a tomboy, I would rather play football with the boys than barbie with the girls. Then puberty hit early, I had precocious puberty before they had named it. I hated the body I was in. I hated how it changed how boys reacted to me. I hated being the curiosity for both boys and girls in school. BUT I grew out of it, and after a few years other girls started becoming the curiosity. I had thoughts as a kid that boys had it better and why couldn't I have been a boy. If I were a child today I would be told I was trans and should be boy. It would have been a lie. Vocal feminisation surgery comes with so many risks. It can severely limit the volume of your voice and stop you from being able to sing. These may be risks that are worth it since having a low voice is lowering your quality of life. I have a friend who sounds like she is always whispering and it has been years since she got it.😭😭😭😭 I'm so sorry you are going through this

I'm neither trans nor detrans, but I really relate to how you described living with yourself after making a major bad decision. A few years ago I decided to pass on a stable (though according to me boring) office job and instead take a 1 year contract to work overseas as an English teacher. Needless to say it was a bad choice. Although there were some good elements to it like the friendships I made and group trips we got to take, the negatives outweighed the positives. I ended up stuck living with not one, but two abusive roommates, a crappy job where I wasn't respected, and getting robbed at gunpoint to name a few things. For awhile I tried to rationalize it away, thinking about those positive elements, but eventually I just had to cut my losses and I left. It's hard to deal with your bad choices but it's ok to admit you made a mistake and if you can reverse it even if only partially, there's no shame in it.

I agree! Poor jazz was breaking down and her mother just can’t let her get it out of her system. If jazz takes her life mom will live with that for the rest of hers. Jazz is living in the public eye and will have no one to talk to because her mom won’t leave her alone with anyone to vent to. I get a feeling jazz is on a short leash.

Jazz's case is specially tricky because she has zero experience of living socially (or internally for that matter) as a male. Her journey started so early that the "boy" option was removed from her and she has absolutely zero reference as to what it is and what it takes to be a boy / young man. To be honest, detransitioning is probably gonna cause MORE problems because then being a woman is off the table, being a man is a complete unknown, and she is cast adrift. Best case is that she finds her feet and sticks with being a woman. Second best case, figuring out a for-her-alone point along the male/female spectrum - but that would mean she's unique, which must be incredibly scary and isolating ... Oh I don't know, I can't imagine how this would all end.

Hi Ms Salty, I agree with you 99% of what you say. The 1% is I only know you with this voice. I really really love it. I have supported your gofundme, in the end, what makes you happy is most important to me. But please reconsider. When people see me at work, they think I'm a sexless nerd, when they see me at a motorcycle event, they think I am a destructive hooligan. In reality I am just a gentle old man. Please don't let other people's perception of you cause you to make life descisions. You are incredibly beautiful, if that were to matter to you. But incredibly wise, and that always matters.

Jazz's mom actually started transitioning Jazz at age 3, not 5 (I'm pretty sure about that). The mom already had 2 sons before Jazz was born & something happened during Jazz's birth, which left mom sterile, so she she knew that she could never have the daughter she so desperately wanted. So what does she do? She creates that daughter she wanted by transitioning Jazz! This whole situation is 💯 percent the mom's idea..... & her fault. Now, don't take me as trans hater, or some kind of nut. I have a trans son myself, but when he decided that this was the path he wanted to take, he was 22 years old & already living on his own. I had a difficult time adjusting to the change, but I've never seen him happier than he is now. Back to Jazz....I totally agree that what the mom did was the worst act of child abuse I've ever heard of. She should go to jail! The dad is completely worthless too. He just agrees with whatever his wife (mom) says just to keep peace. Jazz is 22-23 years old now, & trained for nothing because mom pulled her out of school & supposedly "home-schooled" her (yeah, right! Jazz has the reading level of a 6th grader!). She should have moved out & lived on her own, gotten a job, & learned how to be self-sufficient. Both of her brothers have moved out, gotten jobs, gotten apartments, & have become productive members of society. But her mom has treated her like a baby for SOOOO long, Jazz acts like one now! I don’t know what the future holds for Jazz, but it looks pretty bleak to me.

I’m a mom of five kids ages 12-18. My 14 year old daughter went through a phase where she thought she was non binary. I put a stop to that quick AF. I absolutely 100% blame social media in particular Tik Tok for this sudden MASSIVE burst of kids claiming they are trans. It was the internet that influenced my daughter and she did come around and see that. It took me explaining to her many more times than once or twice that every woman has days where they don’t feel feminine. A lot of girls aren’t super fem and are tomboys it doesn’t mean that they are gender less or the wrong gender. I believe she was nervous about her puberty and influenced by confused older kids online. Once her figure started to develop she fell in love with her feminine body and that was that. I understand it’s not like that for some but that some is a MUCH MUCH smaller percentage than what we are seeing these days.

DO NOT get any more surgery. Please. I used to be a vocal coach and there are endless ways of lightening your voice. First of all you're are speaking on your throat - very close to what is known as "vocal fry", you'd do better to go to a good voice coach first. Surgery is butchery. These surgeons pretend they can do more than they actually can, they also don't report their failures. I understand you feel you need to do something. Please use any money you have to visit a voice specialist FIRST, before you go under the knife. It's in their interest to persuade you to have surgery. They are making obscene amounts of money. Please let the experience of Jaz Jennings be your guide. Mind you, you need a voice specialist/coach who is GOOD, experienced, qualified, etc. Best of luck to you...💜

There are gorgeous, sultry actresses from the Golden Age of Hollywood who smoked and yelled to deepen their speaking voices because they thought it sounded more attractive. If people look startled or react when you speak they may just be reacting to something a little different than what they are used to. Don't do any surgeries. They cost a bunch of money and they can go wrong and when they go wrong they can go really wrong. Lots of women have naturally husky voices. It used to be no big deal or even sexy and nobody would assume you were trans. Now that trans trans trans is everywhere I guess you'll run into more people making that assumption but that's just a way in which trans theology has messed with everyone's minds ... but this social madness will pass.

As someone who has a mother w Munchausens now, and previously had by Proxy (when my siblings and I were minors) Jazz’s mother very much seems like it’s a self serving “act of love”. I don’t want to say for sure or even pretend I can diagnose, but this is extremely triggering and throwing alarm as everywhere from my own personal experience. This mother is exhibiting tons of personal and selfish reasons for pushing this. I’ve watched every episode and it’s incredible how much everyone in tha family just falls in line to the mother. They all have no fight to give their own opinions. They’re zombie like when she is around. Is seems like the mother might be someone pretty harsh behind the cameras and they all learned to just agree with no feedback. It’s very much the dynamic of my family. Until I became a teenager and had to become the mother figure, as my mother finally got her own illness that she lives for. I became mom to my young siblings and did everything a parents is supposed to do, except make the money. I was given the financials by my step father (who stayed in Vegas for a handful of years for a major casino Reno job) and paid the bills, kept the home running, everyone fed, school registrations, meetings, ex activities, therapy for them and myself and tending to my mom just enough to keep her off our backs. I get that same feeling from the family, in accordance to how they feel/act towards the mother. They do just enough to keep her happy and themselves out of her line of fire. So happy I found this channel and I hope you’re able to thrive through every part of your life, in the way the makes your soul fly high 💜💜💜🌻🌻🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

This poor kid binge eats now to eat the emotions also the family puts this kid through all of this but then mocks and degrades them for gaining weight. It seems to me the binge eating is the only thing Jazz can control in their life when their body is pumped with estrogen. This kid never even had a chance to get to know or even like who they were or who they could become. So much of trans seems like a trend to become to fit in for kids nowadays. I feel the sense of betrayal Jazz might feel at some point soon will be explosive on "Why did you do this to me? Why did you allow this to happen to me?" Jazz is sort of left with no sexuality and cannot have natural children also. I don't know how a person wraps their mind around ANYTHING Jazz has lived through.

This was an AMAZING breakdown of the situation. You are the first person I've heard mention Jazz' mom saying "I understand. I've been there" I caught that the first time I saw that clip, and it has stick in my craw ever since! You're sooo right! She ABSOLUTELY does NOT understand! She has NEVER "been there"! And the only reason her child is there and going thru this, is because when her SON was a baby, he likes and did normal age appropriate play that SHE thought was tooo girly. And by the time her SON was 2 years old, she had made up her mind that having a transgender child and getting HERSELF rich and famous for being a "cool and understanding mom was better (at any and all costs to her SON 's mental health) than ha ing a gay son!

I have seen a few videos on the voice surgeries, mostly by FTM. There is a real risk of developing swallowing disorders, that get worse over the lifespan. Sounds minor, but it is not really. You are fixating on it now, but surgeries go wrong. Do real research, not just satisfied customer testimonials. You might get a new voice, but it won't be the same. I mean would you be OK if you could only ever whisper? Having lifelong laryngitis? There is no rush...
