Since she was five years old, Cat Cattinson felt uncomfortable in her body. She brushed these feelings aside until she turned 28, when the narrative she was hearing from trans activists and medical providers became too overwhelming to ignore: If she did not conform with her “gender identity,” she would face significant mental health problems and be at high risk for committing suicide. So Cat started testosterone prescribed over the phone after a 30-minute phone call with Planned Parenthood, scheduled an elective double mastectomy, and filed to legally change her name. But three months later, after the testosterone made it painful to sing and to even speak, she realized it was all a huge mistake.

Trans activism is the most dangerous, toxic ideology today. Thank you for speaking out, Cat. You have the support and love of this Conservative Christian, and our community. What people don't understand is sex hormones are not only about sex. They have a ton of other functions in the body. I can not wrap my head around how medical professionals direct people to 'transition' when transitioning means a life time of hormone supplements which could wreak havoc with your body.

I listened to an interview with a hormone specialist, who said that of all the young people who wanted to transition that he's had as clients, every one of them had a hormonal imbalance. Once it was brought under control, there was no more gender dysphoria. He was appalled that not one of the many transitioners have ever been tested for hormonal imbalance.

Cat, you are very very very fortunate that you were able to stop the testosterone and that you didn’t suffer irreversible damage. So accurate, in the observations that the “previous mental health issues” is consistent with the overall group. There is a root cause that isn’t being addressed and hormones are just being handed out so freely. Hopefully these adults can find their way to true healing.

@@karybakk There shoul`ve never be no doctor who has been educated to cut off body parts from healthy bodies, nor a doctor who is been titled “gender doctor”. (sounds like doctors gone mad and sharing their madness to their paisents) Gender is not an illness, which is need to be fixed. GOD created everyone perfectly. Males with all which they need and Females with all which they need. Teenage era, puberty? What is it? - transformation from child to an ADULT. Gender dysphoria ? What is it? - a lie, a try to go against THE WORD OF GOD, stating that hating ones body is normal. Lets remind what GOD says: Ephesians 5:29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: Trans surgery scars - scars which never should've been on a human bodies, be they young or old. Gender - affirming Care - care which never should took place. We are not creators, we are creation, meaning we cannot create, we can only use which is already been made. Like lucifer, fallen angel, couldn`t create a mankind which he so badly wanted, for he too is a creation not a creator therefore can only use what`s been made. Did he got his wish, to have his own mankind? - yes, the giants and hybrid creatures + now the deceived human souls, who like they believed the trans lie and transformed themselves into their illusions, the same with the another lie from lucifer, through which he “promise” to give the “everlasting life” = humans mixing with machines, becoming robots = worst fate found, cause true, they stopped ageing and dying, but the wish and desire to die shall be there. Everlasting life in which souls wish to die and desire to die everlastingly - where`s the life then? As it sound and seem to be a forced on existence.

The 99% are Not 'happy'. They weren't happy to begin with., that's why they seek change and affirmation and then instead of a community of compassion and real acceptance, they are told that they are correct to hate their bodies (affirming that they're not good enough the way they are) and altering physiologically will bring them the peace and wholeness and clarity and acceptance they need and crave. It's a lie. The 99% who aren't speaking out (yet) are just as this woman said, they're afraid to offend or 'harm' the trans community. And most are more unhappy than they were before and have now made irreversible damage and the beloved trans ppl they were clinging to reject them for speaking out about their real problems. Very evil. Very sad situation

So weird. In western society, everyone and I mean literally everyone, from the medical community, media to the general public. All accept that being male is a disadvantage. Male sexuality, physiology and biology are completely degraded in society. Some outright refer to males as being biologically inferior to women. So its weird that any female would want to become male, given all of the so called disadvantages it brings in society. They tell you that being female is everything and the greatest. Thus a reason why many boys hate themselves and their existence a d want to “transition” into a female

Glad you stopped this madness in time you are a very pretty young lady. I am a 60 year old Egyptian woman so I was your age during the 70s of the last centuries, I too loathed the pubertal changes happening to my body so much so as I was a few months ahead of my peers in school. I was MISERABLE. if a Doctor and one of my parents had given me a remote hint that they knew what my problem was and offered a “solution” like the one that came too easily to your premature mind I would certainly have jumped in and ruined my whole life. I am now happily married for 32 years and have 2 adult children I believe what girls go through is a normal fleeting period of awkward adjustment that could be short or long but definitely making decisions that lead to permanent mutilation to a child’s body are criminal on the part of parents, physicians, psychologists and all those involved.

Exactly. I was a tomboy who was so angry when I had to get my first training bra. I’m middle aged & still don’t always love my very large breasts that get in the way, & I also still hate having to wear a bra. I’ve tried underwire & non-underwire, but they’re all just uncomfortable in different ways. I also wasn’t allowed to play sports as a child because “girls can’t play on the boys team”, & there were no girls sports in my town for young girls, only some high school teams. Combine that with the fact that I suffered gender-based violence with “justifications” for that violence in the form of Bible verses, I likely would’ve fallen victim to this trans ideology if it existed in my day. Puberty is also really hard on boys as well. I’ve talked to men about it regarding the trans ideology. The most embarrassing thing to them is how their voices jump around, crack, & come out high pitched like a little girl, & there’s no control over it or no way to even know when it might happen. We just need to be more open with you g kids that puberty can be terrible at times, & it was for us, but we all got through & are happy to be adults on the other side of it.

Usually the problem starts with the environment which makes homophobic remarks and when that feminine boy realizes he's attracted to the same sex they quickly find transitioning a possible escape from the homophobic environment. This took great courage Cat. Even though it doesn't occur to all people, questioning sexuality and who one perceives themselves to be is absolutely normal! Its part of the human experience. Current hype and push to move folks who DO question into gender reassignment is intense, a social pressure-cooker and even reckless. It can make one feel that's the only way to go. Even well meaning folks need to take a look deeper into these approaches. Im sorry you had to go through so much Cat, but you persevered and followed your gut intelligence out. I so applaud you for sharing your story and helping others see that there are 2 sides to the narrative.

@@goyim6866 perhaps not your experience and that is fine. But there is nothing wrong with questioning who one is inclined to be attracted to in life, in the body one is born. That is Aok for some folks. BUT, the push to permanently alter the body BEFORE one has lived to be an adult is exceptionally cruel destructive/damaging/unnecessary. Forcing doubt and confusion on children in schools & from those in the LGBT community who are zealously buying into this new societal programming is harming bodily sovereignty, self confidence. No doubt, teens especially too!

I’m so sorry you had to go through all that. I remember when my mother was going through perimenopause, it was at the time when they were taking away everyone’s hormones because of the flawed study. Her hot flashes were so bad she would bring a change of clothes to work every day. When I got into that zone I told my obgyn give me all the hormones - I don’t give a F if I don’t live as long, I’d rather have a better quality of life than a longer life. He laughed and agreed. I had to fire my previous obgyn as she argued with me that I wasn’t in peri (I was 49, geez lady maybe you need to go back to med school) and wanted to take out my uterus (which wasn’t the problem, my hormones were the problem). Most doctors have no idea what they’re doing.

You know Elliot Paige grew up her entire life being told how beautiful and feminine he was. This caused him great distress actually. It was one of the most traumatizing things to him, but his acting career depended in it. You don't really care though how people feel actually feel inside. Only the behavior of the organism matters. This organism looks to me like a beautiful feminine lady, please hit it with a switch until it performs its role. For millenia people like Eliot Paige would eventually be found having jumped out of the window of the palace in which the prince raped him. How sad, I'll write a sonnet to the memory of my ladies beauty, how I stared at them titties. These days, he just chopped them off, nothing to stare at any more. OP is still intersex BTW and when you really about what an attractive beautiful woman she is, it causes her distress. Again, you don't care.

We have a fork in the road. A CHOICE. Let's choose to go down the path of unimaginable self-destruction and suffering because their bodies are not perfect. A vulnerable is adult or child with high traits of Autism, obsessive compulsive disorder, anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, and mental illnesses galore , while adding on medications, substances abuse and misuse. The solution is desired perfection because of their dysphoria bodies are having irreversible surgeries that turn them into lifelong patients, that dependent upon chronic uses of cross sex hormones, puberty blockers, and mutilating surgeries. Sane people will never choose this life of dystopia and delusions. You can't treat mental delusions with physical delusions. THERE IS NO CURE FOR DISCONNECTION BETWEEN THE BODY NOT MATCHING THE MIND

I played video games, watched “boy cartoons”, and played basketball and baseball with them. I didn’t start doing more girly things until I started going through puberty. I became more concerned with my personal hygiene and what clothes I wore. My parents were never concerned about my gender. I knew who I was. I was a girl who didn’t like being put into a box. Nowadays, I’m a mix of feminine and masculine. I enjoy playing video games and styling my hair. One thing I will never do, though, is makeup. It makes me itch. I’m sad that this woman was fed a dangerous lie. At least she was able to go back, for the most part. I’ve heard of many who aren’t that fortunate and self-delete due to the crippling depression.

@wandertree

The "trans" movement has come out of the "gay" movement. It's all a perversion. As far as suicidal ideation and acts amongst transgenders.. That has been deeply studied, and suicides are at 40% in that group of people whether they transition or not and whether they are accepted or not. Gender dysphoria is a mental illness. The sad thing is, young people are being sold the lie that they can medically change from one gender to the next, which is a ridiculous impossibility. They are left to figure this out after painful, mutilating surgeries and the after effects, years of damaging hormonal "treatments", and the realization that they are stuck with surgeries and hormones for the rest of their lives just to maintain the damage they've done to their own bodies. Many are awakening to the fact they are now sterile. What a horrible, selfish, foolish thing to do to our young people! Many grown "trans" people are sexually fetishizing themselves and children. The sooner this trend and cult ends, the better.

Maybe it is "politically incorrect" 🙃, but I wanted to say that as a female you look real and highly attractive. However, there was something really sickly and distorted in your "male image". Femininity is just oozing through your eyes and the movements of your body and especially your SMILE! I am so glad that you would be able to share the gift of your smile with everyone around you. I had doubts about my gender when I was young, which instilled fear and confusion in me. Fortunately, when I was about 30, I participated in a tantra retreat and during meditation I was finally able to come in a deep intimate contact with my femininity, not artifical restrictive femininity defined by society but real mystical femininity beyond description… while not negating male energy within me as well. All of us have both, male and female, energies. These energies are not fighting, not forcing you to choose one at the exclusion of the other. No. They harmoniously play together a divine music in whatever body you’ve got. God bless you ❣
