I've been driving all kinds of different jeeps for years but 2 years ago I bought my first Wrangler! People were waiving at me? I didn't know why; didn't know about the jeep wave LOL. When driving my son's Jeep Liberty no waves, drive mine got waves. So I Googled it and now my family all do the Jeep wave but only when in our Wranglers! We love our Jeeps and cool to be part of the Jeep Family too! Wave on Jeep peeps!

Here in Africa we have the 99 to 06 ranger wave. I had a ranger. It was actually cool. But when you see rare vehicles and you're driving a rare vehicle, those people who have the same rare vehicle we wave at each other. It's a really cool feeling.

When I was in London recently at a clothing store and I struck up a conversation on the checkout queue with a young English fellow who was about to buy a Jeep Wrangler t-shirt. There aren't many Wranglers in London as they have to be specially outfitted for right side driving. Immediately, like old buddies we were talking about what Jeep models we have and how we were customizing them. As a new Jeep owner I warned him that you didn't just buy a car...you joined a cult! He laughed, and said yes I know, and it's great.

I live in Los Angeles. It's not rare to be at a stop light and see a Jeep on every leg of the intersection. They are thick around here. Most of those people have likely never even put their Jeep into 4HI let alone 4LO. If I waved to every Jeep my arm would get tired. So, I stopped doing it unless I'm headed to a trail and away from the city.

Funny, I’ve owned a Cherokee Xj for years that’s lifted along with all the good stuff that goes along with it and it’s in very nice shape. I also own a 2020 Rubicon and quite honestly I don’t wave back at anyone while I’m driving it because it seems to me that all these Jeep owners must think that they’re to good to give me the wave while driving my xj ( which puts some of your high dollar jeeps to shame) so if that’s what these Jeep owners think I’ll keep the wave for the other type of Jeep owners. Regardless of what your Jeep is Cherokee, Wrangler, etc it’s still a Jeep and no better than any of the others. Honestly it’s enough to make me keep my Rubicon parked because of all the rude ass people that own them, and by the way I’ve pulled my share or Wranglers and Others out of some pretty bad place with my XJ and had no problem doing so. Thanks for the regrets now of buying a Jeep Rubicon.

Maybe I'm the one that's lame and I should start waving to everyone I see driving a Ford work van LOL what a bunch of nerds. I've got a very good friend who used to drive a Wrangler and I saw him do it and it kind of made me lose respect for him. I've also been dating a girl for 8 months and the first time I saw her do it it was kind of a turn-off. I asked her why she did it and her reply was I wouldn't understand because I don't drive a Jeep. The Jeep itself is very attractive and jacked up on Big Wheels but she never takes it Off Road so one has to ask what is the effing point. It's different when bikers do it because it takes a lot more balls to ride a motorcycle. Honestly even that's kind of lame. Being a biker myself I find that most people I've met that also ride bikes are douchebags as well as people that drive any type of car truck or Jeep are also douchebags. Oh yeah I forgot to mention I kicked my girlfriend out the other day
