Plague didn't lose her toe to the plague, she cut it off as an offering in an attempt to help cure a person. This devotion to her people is what inspired them to follow her despite her increasing illness.

When I'm plague, I like using dark devotion as a time bomb. You just vomit a little on the obsession, and then they either cleanse early or confuse themselves and their teammates

the doctors static blast has a range of your terror radius, so if you use dark devotion on him you can literally killer queen the survivors.

@@etourdie The static blast will follow the person with Devotion applied to them, is what he's saying. So you have one person running around that is waiting to be struck by lightning. You could be in the void after falling through the map and still charge a static blast and hit all four survivors with it.

Could you send me a clip of someone using dark devotion with the blast clearly coming from the obsession and not the doctor? The only clip I could find that would be relevant was from Dowsey using the blast when the obsession was only like 16 meters away from him in the white halls of Hawkins Lab (rip), so I couldn't actually see if it came from the obsession

My first game vs a plague was fun as hell. Playing with 3 of my friends and they slowly got infected. We chose to not cleanse, and it worked out for us. But the best part was I was the only one by the end of the game that wasn't infected. So tense both trying to avoid the killer and your own team mates, much like they truly had the plague. One of the most fun killers to play against in a full team, for sure.

Her having such an extensive and varied kit is probably also what keeps from being more popular, cause there's so many choices to be made throughout a plague game. And sometimes people can make the worse choice every time and they think she sucks 😂

Plague is easily one of my favorite killers. Original especially. Whenever I use her I tend to bring add-ons for enhancing the infection efficiency and then I just keep puking on targets until they reach max before even trying to hit them. It works pretty well for me.

Really good video! In relation to the perfect chapter thing at the end of the video, I’d love to see a chapter full of utility based perks. Stuff similar to blast mine, any means necessary, pebble, dark devotion, and the new hex perk that got released. I think a utility based meta would breath a ton of life back into the game

I have never had so much fun as Plague. I started main her after Huntress. Close to 2k hrs I played only as Plague and she is more than puking straight forward. Learning projectile velocity You can do more than u can even imagine! I really obsessed with this killer.

Honestly, for Plague, I do a game lengthening build, to give my infection more time to grow and keep the survivors on their toes. I also use Dark Devotion on Onryo, as I can walk around physically for a while so I don't waste time phasing

Even ignoring the amazing killer that is the plague, corrupt intervention alone makes this chapter one of the best since it gives new killers “training wheels” of sorts. Ya, its necessary on trap killers and those with a slower start like pig, but having that slowdown early on for a learning player to situate themselves in the match and have a bit of a cushion is really helpful. Its nerf to deactivate after the first down only further pushes that idea.

Just on the Westworld lawsuit, from what I recall it’s because Behaviour made similar code for both games or allegedly reused some of their Fallout Shelter code wholesale. They were different games, but maintained similar 2D animation rigging and both dealt with underground complexes, although Westworld was far more interested in the attractions above ground than anything they did for Fallout Shelter. Part of me just feels like Bethesda didn’t want the competition and bet that with both games being made by Behaviour that they’d have to share similar code to achieve a similar result.

Something I really like about the plague is her "meme addon" isn't just a straight nerf, it just shifts the way you play. As a console player aiming the puke is difficult, so just being able to spit on everything and turn the whole map into a biohazard zone instead of focusing on actively hitting survivors with it is quite fun for me. Plus gens are infected for so long it's like, "sure you can wait it out. Gonna take longer than the total repair time, so please. Be my guest."

I actually don't like corrupt intervention on hag. It forces the survivors to come toward you, sure, but in doing that it doesn't usually allow you enough time to properly set up your trap web around the 3-4 gens you'll defend the majority of the map.
