What a wonderfully silly lobby this was! We had so many great moments that I’ll just name a few of my favorites: Sidearms and Junk’s ongoing rivalry, plus a new song that sounded very familiar, lol, Platy accidentally killing Ze because he couldn’t remember a grenade flashed 5 seconds before the meeting started, Platy being an obvious Exe but not for who you expected, fake Trapper plays galore, intimidating Dumbdog for no reason, a thrilling Glitch win, and an even more amazing Veteran win! I loved every moment of it and I was so happy to watch it all over again! I also loved how, per usual, people were believing Jester Ze’s lies, aside from the person who could shoot him-a tragedy in its truest form, lol. Thanks for another hilarous video, Ze, and keep up the great work!

There’s a glitch in the game right now where you can’t take vanilla crewmate as amnesiac. Since Platys role was stolen by someone else before Heck got to the body and he was crewmate, Heck couldn’t take the role and the name bug happens for some reason.

Legend of Korra doesn't hit as well as the first Avatar because they kept greenlighting a new season every season was finished instead of having something like a 3 season contract. Its hard to have a cohesive story when your storyboarding for just one season. 🤷🏾‍♂️

Also they have no respect for any of the lore or worldbuilding from the OG. All of the writing in korra is mid-tier fanfic levels: the characters are uninteresting and flat, the worldbuilding is nonexistent/ham-fisted/self-contradictory, the plot is sporadic & not compelling. Overall the entire series is extremely mediocre at best, and coming as a sequel to one of the best cartoons of all time it's a slap in the face how poorly it compares. If you have any respect for how well made atla was, I don't recommend watching korra.

LoK season ranking 1-Pretty good. Solid start. 2-You either love it or hate it. There is no in-between. Tries to do interesting things with the Avatar lore, but those things aren't to a lot of people's liking. 3-The best. Lots of Korrasami building if you pay attention. Much more focused plot. Arguably the best villains in the entire Last Airbender universe (I mean...you have Henry Rollins playing an anarchist revolutionary Airbender taught by a rogue monk! Whose girlfriend was a human bomb. Combustion Man 2.0! And they assassinated the Earth Queen live on television by airbending the oxygen out of he lungsr! Plus that ending punches you in nuts) 4. Korra at her lowest, having to rebuild herself from the ground up. Toph as Yoda with a fuck-you streak. The enemy is a former ally that thinks themselves a hero rather than they tyrant they've become. And a whole lot of gay. Great ending.

@@tortillachips3911 Eh, I kinda see what you mean, but I think it depends somewhat on the context you bring into it. With Amon and the Equalists, there were definitely echoes of communism there, but I feel less like Bryke was trying to say that communism is bad in that instance so much as populist movements are easily exploited by demagogues for personal gain (a fact we've seen bore out in our own country in recent times, and other places around the globe too). With Zaheer and the Red Lotus, I don't think Bryke was trying to punish them for being anarchists either. Honestly, I feel they handled the anarchist aspect of them better than most other writers do. They're still terrorists, obviously, but they're portrayed as having clear, understandable motives and a sense of morality. They aren't wanton psychopaths creating chaos for the sake of chaos, but political and spiritual dissidents that believe their ideas of ultimate liberty and personal responsibility will benefit the greater populace as a whole. They believe they have to make themselves the villains in order to make everyone else's lives better, What Bryke punishes them for is being idealistic to the point of not considering the consequences of sudden societal collapse without a clear path out to that better world. That just wrecking shit in itself will instantly solve the problems. Kuvira might be a weaker representation of fascism, but I feel like her arc is less about her being fascist than it is about a good woman who makes all the wrong decisions and falls from grace. A war hero who believes the only way to protect her nation is to use brute force to make everyone else (including her own citizens) bend the knee for their own good. The real weak point to me is Unalaaq. I believe his arc is supposed to represent cult movements, but it's hard to critique cult movements when the cult leader is being possessed by a literal anti-god.

5:50 yes. Legend of Korra is really bad. They tried to do too much in a single series. Unlike Legend of Aang, which was just escalating the challenge till the final boss... every season of Korra escalated things to new levels, with a big bad evil end-of-the-world boss in the end. Couple that with poor written script and dialogue, and you have a less enjoyable series than the first one.

1. Legend of Aang is probably to fit it with Legend of Korra, don't know why @Kyoki Hatter 2. In my opinion season 1 of Legend of Korra is alright. Not good, not bad, like 4/10. It's the fact that they kept feeding more and more seasons to the beast that only had room for 1. It's kind of like if you were to tell the story of the Little Red Riding Hood, but the people asking you to tell the story forces you to make it last 5 hours. You'd have to pull in random elements that have nothing to do with the base story and just hope it makes sense
