As a long time Jesus Lizard fan I'm suprised that I've only just recently heard this song. It ranks up there as not only one of the best Jesus Lizard tracks but as one of the best overall from any band, ever. Tragic, powerful, disturbing, poetic, forceful, abrasive and yet calming and as much as it pains me to use such an over-used adjective, beautiful.

i just recently got into the jesus lizard about a year ago i dont buy cd's online or use itunes. i still go to record stores ones that are still open any way,i was having a real hard time finding a album of theirs and then one awsome day i went into one of my used cd stores and some one traded in their whole collection of jesus lizard.sadly the only two i dont have is goat and liar but i have heard both online and am about to break down and by them online.i fucking love down such a great album

Funny thing: almost all of them. I like Goat, Liar, Down and Shot in particular. Got into Liar when it came out in autumn 1992, saw them for the first time in September 1992 (five times altogether), the band I saw most often. I was never disappointed: Denision, why did you join the operatic Patton? I mean we all want to live by doing what we can do best. But Tomahawk is a mere 3rd division where The Jesus Lizard are Real and Barca and Lazio and Olympic all in one go!

Goat is probably my favourite, then Head and Liar. Goat isn't an immediately easy listen (at least, I didn't think so) but I love nearly every song on it.

I love Goat, Liar, and Down. Those first two are equal, I like Down a bit less - the first half is incredible, but the energy fades imo. My opinion could change though, as it has before. That's how you know a band is great, when your favorite album of theirs changes as you change. Shot and Blue are the hardest for me to listen to, but Shot is actually pretty great too, I think
