A normal Monday turned into one of the craziest days to be a Jet Set Radio fan. We recently got a HUGE leak drop about a Jet Set Radio remake. I talked about it in a previous video about it potentially being real, and then we get this huge bomb drop of Jet Set Radio information. Pictures and even early development footage for the Jet Set Radio remake.
To celebrate Jet Set Radio's anniversary today. In this video, I go into detail about the interesting findings in these images and footage that gives us ideas about the gameplay mechanics, the story, and the other hidden secrets that you probably missed out on when viewing these leaks.

Seems more like a re-imagining/reboot than a remake. New designs look pretty decent, though I wish they stuck closer to Beat's original/future look.

The hope is I would LOVE for all of the rivals from both games to come back. That's probably wishful thinking though. So, we might just see the original 3 rivals only

You can probably expext Microtransactions in the f2p game, but for the Remake we can just gave normal in game currency.

Im so, so excited to see the rest of this game as time goes on. The dev build leaks can really do so much to show off the final look of a game, I'm fond for new ideas but its always the execution of it all that really hinges on the quality of a title. My real only wish is that they will eventually add celshading in the final look cause as cool as this game can be, it DOES give off the vibe of an early Xbox 360 title in videos

It is a super duper early build of the game and, of course, not in the highest quality. It'll most likely be closer to what we saw in the Power Surge trailer.

It's subtle, but some gameplay related stuff were taken from Future. Although they will just continue to pretend Future is not really a thing💀

The first and second game were based on the era of their time, this new game it's probably gonna be inspired on our current era reason why they don't want to make it similar to future but it's own thing. I am pretty sure the music will follow the same direction.

Looking at the silhouette of the gun, it looks like a Paint Gun? Maybe it’ll have like a double purpose with graffiti and stuff.

Yeah, paint gun makes the most sense in the context of the game. They could do a lot of interesting things with a weapon like that if they wanna get creative with graffiti placements

Well if they hope to take off somewhere with the f2p angle, they have to ensure that this remake actually succeeds. So, they have to make sure this is up to stuff before they try to extend it again.

Even tho Sega probably won’t do this, still kinda wish the team adds some Future stages for the JSR remake since tbr, this seems like a reboot or re-imaging tbh. Especially since they are bringing in a new young villain like how Street Of Rage 4 done it. So if they are just going to change up stuff that wasn’t in JSR, then I mean why not add some of Future stages too. Again I doubt this but it would be cool especially since we probably will never see Future get ported or remade. Also pray they add no skate like BRC cuz it would make parkcour and bosses way easier without nonstop skating. Ya they could fix the skate controls but still if not, then they gotta add no walk, plzzz Smilebit🙏🏾😭. Plus if gun play is gonna be a thing in JSR then shooting while skating would feel a bit awkward. Maybe the team may fine a way to make skating n shooting feel smooth and less of a pain but still if the skating is going to be like OG JSR, then again, no skate has to be added. Bike n skateboard would be cool but honestly if they aren’t added, then I’m won’t complain. Music, pray Hideki Naganuma comes back n maybe get Tee Lopes n BRC composers to do tracks too. Doubt all of them would make it, but Hideki is a must

I do lowkey hope as well that Future gets represented more besides just gameplay additions. Considering the route this game is going, they could make some parts of Future's levels in the open world. Future's levels are condensed enough where it could be possible, but we gotta just wait and see.
