Kingsbury would be a total departure from anyone they’ve ever had. I wouldn’t hire him yet as an NFL HC but he’s an awesome OC/QB coach and great play designer. They complain about the lack of ingenuity in the play calling, Kingsbury would solve that overnight.

Personally, I like Todd Monken. (Or John Harbaugh.) The Jets have also gone with retreads too. Rich Kotite anyone? Joe mentioned that a team with a bad coach can't win unless the QB is so good he can overcome it. Hmm, sounds like a good description of Aaron Rodgers and McCarthy to me.

As a die-hard Jets fan, honestly I don't want McCarthy. This is why...he had 2 first ballot hall of fame QB's playing for him. How much coaching really was required for Favre and Rodgers. When you have them 2 playing for you, they can cover up alot of mistakes. Look at McCarthys record when Rodgers missed games due to injury. Just saying.
