Yes, these cues WERE composed by Hoyt Curtin, who created music from various Hanna-Barbera cartoons of the 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s.

8:00: I heard that music cue in a couple of Flintstones episodes like Daddy's Little Beauty from season 4, and Monster Fred from season 5, in addition to the Jetsons episodes that the cue is usually used in. It's really cool to hear the tuba at the very beginning of the piece here, which I actually started playing it since I was in 8th grade, and then I played it entirely when I was in high school.

As this was from the 1960s they had to use real musical instruments to compose the music as a synthesizer wasn't really invented yet at the time. If they made a 2000s version of The Jetsons (which unfortunately never happened) then I would imagine the music would be re composed with the same background music, except this time it would all be synthesized with the EMU Proteus 2 Orchestral and Korg M1 synthesizers. The sound packs I would imagine the fanmade 2000s version would be The EMU Proteus 2 Orchestral would be used with the Bassoon, flute, clarinet, and xylophone sound packs The Korg M1 would be used with tuba sound pack (which surprisingly was called TubaFlugel), along with slap bass, and organ.

At 0:51 is a prototype of the theme song to "Josie and the Pussycats!"

Thank you for uploading the longer, full version of this (the cues starting with 5:38 until the end).

Anyone else recognize this melody at 0:51 in what would later become Josie and the Pussycats theme music.

Some of this music seems like it was used again for "Josie and the Pussycats" in 1970.

Are you kidding? Almost ALL of the cues Hoyt Curtin wrote for various H-B cartoons in the 1960's were "recycled" in their later ones!
