I understand that this is probably the best move for future development (6th job and what not), but Jett mains should be overly compensated rather than whatever the heck this is. Recognition (metals, special items, skills, etc), easy transitions, free currency,... etc. People have spent thousands if not tens of thousands of hours on these characters. If "MMOs are dying", this is the reason. This is on the same level as being permanently banned unfairly.

Well they aren't really losing that much progress, if any at all, reboot players will suffer the most unless they change to a pirate class, which arguably if you play Jett it's what you should do, because Corsair is the closest thing to it. But if you change to something else and you lose all your unequipped items, that sucks.

back in the days, the only compensation that you get from nexon was a face change coupon. During early BigBang update, they had a massive data leak and lots of items were stolen from many accounts, mine included, and all they gave me as comp was a face change coupon. made me quit forever haha

I don't think its the best move. If it was they would also remove Beast Tamer, Hayato and Kanna. I think its more because Global refuses to do their job, or Nexon Korea doesn't seem to care much about GMS since China got a replacement for Zen, while Hayato, Kanna and Beast Tamer have never been buggy to the extent Jett was. Its a shame, I would rather see the overseas characters added to KMS and given proper maintenance than having them removed.

In the end of the day it's all about money. Tens of thousands of complaints in the forums are noting compared to millions of dollars being spent on the game. A company who's revenue just keeps getting higher has no incentive to change their treatment of the still paying player base.

Even as a newer played I can see how much of an issue the reboot inventory for Equip is and will be in the long term for my characters. Even with max slots it feels restrictive. There are many reasons to save gear in reboot and they can only be saved in your equip inventory. Can't move to storage, can't sell it on the MB and buy something of a similar price, and you also have to keep cosmetic equip items that you might want to use later. It's a total mess. So I can see why this is a big deal for people especially on reboot. They need to do the whole inventory's gear. It's a permanent part of the character after all and can't be traded.

Not defending them or anything, but Nexon was just following previous examples. This was actually the same thing that happened in MSEA, TMS and CMS when Zen was removed/replaced with Mo Xuan; only equipped items were transferred to appropriate equipment for the new class. In fact, GMS actually have it way better because you can choose ANY adventurer class to convert to while MSEA only allowed adventurer pirates only and TMS/CMS only allowed switching to other adventurer class pirates or Mo Xuan.

Did everyone just forget that after Nexon admitted to lying about rigging Flame stat rolls *twice* and for GMS they basically nothing? Just tried to patch it out. And just sayin', Won-Ki was head of their team over there at the time so... Hate to say it, but GMS has always been a dumb risk for wasting time and/or money for like ten years or more now. Nexon lies constantly, they've had court systems come after them for it, etc. This company doesn't care about you at all and is really only even running GMS because Reboot brings in enough money. That's it.They'll end it overnight if people tried to protest by anything like not playing or not spending.

It doesn't surprise me that Nexon is constantly making bad choices. Like how many times are the players are going to get screwed by Nexon's lack of handling these issues? I've never seen another mmorpg games constantly deleting content just so "they can save time and money". Nexon refuses to fix the servers and instead screw the players over by taking away kanna kishin or the totems just because KMS says so (correct me if I'm wrong). Then the whole gollux double pendant thing we had for years then just take it away? Then taking away the maps that we still used for training to avoid the highly populated maps? Then we got punishing players for "hacking" when all they are trying to do is train while fighting with laggy servers. Nexon continues to fail at fixing everything and somehow gets away with it.

Well, about the potentials etc. I think alot of people who do not have 'perfect' pot/bonus pots etc, they will be lucky since ALL potentials will be reset to primary stat of new job chosen. So basically a free perfect triple stat legendary for all pot/bonus pots? I would say that is pretty good no? For the rest, you are right the compensation is lackluster

When i read the initial removal about jett i knew without a doubt they would do the absolute bare minimum. So this is to no surprise and is the prevailing reason I decided to not play the newest patch with many others. Bruh, they got better shit than MSEA in terms of compensation. GMS has MUCH BETTER compensation than MSEA. At least you get to change to ANY EXPLORER and have cash set, mounts, effects, nodes, symbol selectors for Jett and OPTIONS for growth pots (INTER-ACCOUNT). MapleSEA had literally ONLY have ONE typhoon pot (UNTRADEABLE), 20 SUS CUBES, AND 3 CRIMSON FLAMES. I DON'T REALLY KNOW WHAT YOU GUYS ARE COMPLAINING ABOUT.

I'm pretty sure the Jett mains had already made our community managers aware of all these potential issues immediately after the removal was announced and yet somehow here we are. Honestly though, I've never bought the whole bit on it being too hard to fix Jett. They currently maintain 46 different classes in KMS and more will be added in the future. If there is a problem with non-KMS classes, it has more to do with a poor development process and code base than anything and that is something Nexon needs to address.

People spent billions upon billions of mesos for their jetts, and god knows how much people spent on servers outside of reboot in real money. To get perfect stats. Overall, I would have liked to see job transfer to any job. As a regular server Jett main, I would have also liked to have all equipment made tradable to salvage the time (value) of equipment. None of the explorer classes spoke to me, so I will probably end up spending MORE resources to PSOK equipment.

I don't necessarily blame Nexon for wanting to get rid of Jett. I don't think it was a super popular class to begin with and I can understand that it's causing way more issues than its worth. I can also kinda understand why they wouldn't want to convert gear in the inventory as there are a lot of sets that would have to be accounted for and I can imagine some people could abuse the conversion to just have a bunch of one class's set to sell for massive profit. However, it's also Jett and the number of people who are still playing the game and have an inventory capable of "abusing" it are likely very few. Like, they could just add a restriction like needing to have invested into it and restrict it to Absolab, Arcane Umbra, and Eternal sets since those are really the only ones actually worth a damn (luckily, it looks like Genesis is converted regardless).

I have a feeling alot of players will leave after this. Being able to transfer is one thing cause atleast all their hard work is there, but that won't be the case thanks to all those restrictions. It'll feel like all your hard work was all for nothing. By removing her to save resources and money, they probably will end up losing even more money than that thanks to the restrictions, just knows they didn't knew what they were doing if they removed her to save money only to lose even more money. Though restrictions can feel like restarting from scratch to alot of people even with a transfer which isn't good for MMORPG which involve alot of progression afterall. But oh well, lol XD

Your inventory will stay as is. So everything that is in there will stay in there. Which sucks for reboot players who are transfering Jett to for example a warrior. Because all the pirate gear (and non str bonus stats) will become useless for that gear.

Im preety sure their wording implies that stuff that isnt class specific wont get transfered at all. Some of my mates talked how their outlaw heart is not included therefore will stay dex, same with all gollux gear cubed for dex and many more. They are probably panicking cos on reg people are planning to reroll Dex equips into other ones with that job change and profit on it (dex is much much cheaper than other stats on reg, especialy pirate). Im actualy curious how it will end up being on reboot, you got some AU spares for pirate, transfer to mage and those are usless? Farmed spares for nothing
