I seen this certificate at Museum of Jewish Heritage-Battery Park, New York City.

They did not go into World War II to save Jews. They were drafted or joined to stop fascism in Europe. It was some thing that was finally done at the very end. If the Catholic church was so concerned about Jewish lives, the US government would have bombed the railway to Auschwitz years before, and members of the Catholic Church would not have lobbied against Jewish immigrants coming to the US, and they would not have been activists for quotas to stop a large influx of Jews trying to save their lives. The SS St. Louis would not have been sent back to Germany. Catholic priest Father Coughlin would not have been speaking to Nazi rallies. The Pope would not have been silent throughout the Holocaust. The Catholic Church would not have officially claimed in their liturgy that the Jews killed their God, all the way into the 1960s. Let’s deal with facts. I wouldn’t make heroes out of the Catholics as a whole by any means.

That is an absolute lie. The Romans burned down Jerusalem in the year 70 and burned down the temple. They took thousands of Jews as slaves to Italy. There is still a statue in Rome that is a tourist trap, called the arch of Titus, and it was built to celebrate what the Romans believed was the death of the Jewish religion. The carving on the back depicts Jewish slaves in chains and a menorah and other items stolen from the Jewish temple. The Romans put Jews in ghettos, and they were the first to do that. The Venice Gatto held Jews for 300 years until around the time of the Civil War, and the only reason the Jews were no longer in the ghetto after that was because the Pope lost control over that particular area. Do some research before you make fake claims.
