being a worship guitar player, I listen to a lot of worship albums. The single album that got me hooked on tremolo was the album Face Down by Matt Redmond. There's tremolo on almost every song. haha.

I love tremolo. Best place for me is just before a slightly cracking up amp or overdrive. The swell gives a rough edge at the extremes, that sound is godlike.

Just got mine this year and I'm in love with it. I'm a bass player and with my Walrus Slo I can get some spooky sounds for the low end. But honestly, of all the pedal overviews I watch (and I've watched quite a few, taking notes as I go). This was one of the most clear and and concise videos I've ever seen. Great work by Marc Ford,and Rich Robinson, and how can you go wrong with a singer like Chris Robinson? Loved this episode! Great work.

After my Zoom 507 mk i reverb, the TR-2 was my very first “proper” stompbox in 1999, before any drive or whatever. Tremolo somehow spoke to me very early on and I will love it forever

I think of tremolo as not something that colors the sound but acts as an instrument itself. And it looks like Kodiak captures this element. Looking forward to this pedal. Thank you Josh-san. My favourite use of tremolo is Dayvan Cowboy by Boards of Canada.

I'd love to try this pedal out. I didn't understand tremolo until I got a Zoom CDR and messed around with a dual tremolo. I go with Slowdive's Alison and the Who's Boris the Spider for my favorite uses of trem, especially the latter. It really spices up that chord Townshend plays after the bass riff

First time I heard a tremolo effect and knew what it was, was on the crossroads movie when Ralph macchio was "playing" feeling sad blues. A great effect and one of the few I've never got around to buying individually since the multi effect processor I use has one.

I’ll echo another comment and say How Soon is Now? as my most memorable trem song. I’ll add that this is the pedal that led me to the KZbin channel. Watching demos led me to your other videos and I am finally catching up to your current ones. I have to say that you look genuinely excited when you go to the record section of your videos. I think my favorite use of tremolo ever was by a friend of mine that recorded a lead over one of our old tracks. Pretty sure we’re going to do it again on a more professional recording for the new album, so I’m stoked... that’s actually why I looked this up

Best song with tremolo goes to Gimme Shelter for me as well. So effective! And gotta love Creedence. Lots of wonderful stuff on there. Fortunate Son was one of the first song I played live. Ps, that Rhythmic setting on the Kodiak reminded me a lot of the swells on the organ/synth on Won’t Get Fooled Again by The Who.

The lead guitar work on Wilco’s A.M. has some great trem. I believe it was played by Brian Henneman. I missed the buckling up in the car intro bit, but the bear footage more than made up for it. 🐻

Obscure one but the band is “Manmade God” and the track is “Bad Creation”. It’s probably the first time I ever heard tremolo and wanted to know what that sound was. It’s a square wave and it’s my favorite kind of tremolo.

I do not like to say "the best" for bands or music, but the first time the tremolo shook me, was in "One of These Days", from Pink Floyd - Album Meddle from 1970. The intermezzo was really strong. I did not know what tremolo was, but I thought that was awesome.

My favourite trem track is the Twin Peaks theme by Angelo Badalamenti for sure! The sole reason why I bought the OBNE Procession, atmospheric verb and trem! Were I ever to opt for a dedicated trem though... My Pink Panther could use some company :)

I just have to say that I am very impressed by the way that recommend brands other than your own. This demonstrates to me your complete confidence in your product and it also says that you are just a VERY cool guy. I got an Angry Charlie V2 ( my very first JHS pedal) a couple of months ago and it's just freakin' awesome. It pretty much turns any amp into the greatest Marshall you've ever heard. ;) While I am not in the market form a Tremolo pedal the moment... I may need to get my mind right and just buy your Kodiak! :)

Seems like the perfect tremolo pedal. Gotta choose one tremolo pedal and i choose gear like i would choose a wife...choices for life. This one looks like a keeper.
