I own one, got it at GC with a 15% off coupon, do the math it made it a lot more affordable. Basically a custom shop guitar for a lot less the ash used is unbelievable light and resonant they are also numbered the one in this demo is in 300's, mine is 800's still very low. Best tele i ever played having played many this guitar rocks!

I did that trick of using a top loader bridge on my Squier telecaster years ago when i first learnt guitar and loading the strings straight through the bottom of the bridge instead of through the body makes a big difference , increased sustain and a rounder tone as i did not like that traditional telecaster twang.

If you thought, throwing in the lead and strap was comical, then I can only say, Thank God I wasn't smoking any of that green stuff I used to smoke back in the day because I would have died of laughter at the mirrors. Rod Shaw it’s all about the break angle over the bridge saddles, the more angle like in a through body design the more tension. Same can be said about string trees, they also can add tension by increasing the break angle over the nut.

Mirror version Laquer painted body made in USA, dragon made in Mexico, and the dragon is not painted it is a silkscreen decal, which was the deal-breaker for me. There is also a limited edition 50 custom shop dragons that are 25k...at that price, I would be looking for an original 59!

There's this extra-"cheap" brand called Harley Benton that is the best deal of your life, too much for very little compared with the big ones. And Squier/Epiphone became a rollercoaster, first were good, then okay, then bad as hell, then okay again and now are getting so good again. Few months ago, I tested a Squier Mustang Vintange Modified and I could get some Nirvana tones even without humbuckers, and then I tested an Epiphone Riviera which, if I had $50 more at the moment, I would have purchased.
