Here is the second record by the group called at the time "The Jive Bombers." It's of interest to me because of the song's 1920s heritage.. The Jive Bombers actually made their career doing covers of 1920-1930s songs, the best known being the first, "Bad Boy" (Lilian Armstrong's "Brown Girl") and the last for Savoy, "Stardust." In the thirties this group was "The Palmer Brothers" and in 1940s Clarence Palmer joined with Sonny Austin and the Jive bombers and recorded as Al Spears and the Sparrows in 1949. In 1952 they became the Jive Bombers.
