Cris Aguilera Cube stays in my top 10, Kendrick might knock him off my top 5, but he was on top of the game, both coast, for 4 whole years before 'Pac and Snoop took off in 1993. But that 1990-1993 run for Cube was just amazing, on top of his run in NWA and ghostwriting for Eazy E and Dr. Dre.

The sonics and the lyricism of GKMC was insane to me, for example The Art of Peer Pressure has a nice smooth sound to it and then the beat switch leads into a spacious intense beat as well as the story telling and the amazing amount of detail that makes you see it so clearly and vividly.

Well I'm only 30 but Nas first 3 hit me in the core as an adult and it changed the way I seen/ re-lived the 90s memories. As far as Em, the hits are the hits but what knocks him and is top 3 FOR ME, that weird white ppl girble in the butt lines and songs I can't relate to and it knocks him because it takes me out of the album(s). So it's Nas, K Dot & Hov will tie, Em fourth.

Kendrick has the best discography in HipHop. From Section 80 to Damn. All his projects are great! The only other artist who can challenge him is Kanye in terms of body of music. This is why Kenny is the undisputed best rapper in the game right now. Drake is a dope artist no doubt. The knock against Drake is that he puts out the same music every project. There is no growth from project to project. Plus he doesn't have a great album in his discography. None of his albums have replay value.

Blue Nightwing lol, gtfoh. you say that like he wasn't apart of the creative process of those songs and their conception. Just cause Ye collaborated with other artist don't mean he can't write. He's written for other rappers too. And rhymefest got his proper credits, so has everyone he's worked with. And the topic best 1st 3 albums, not best lyricist. And nobody in hip hop is touching College Dropout, Late Registration & Graduation in a debut run. Except maybe Kendrick with Section.80, GKMC & TPAB. And of course Tribe People's Instinctive Travels, Low End Theory & Midnight Marauders.
@ChrisMcFlurry547 жыл бұрын
