In the beginning of the podcast when the topic came up about getting older, I literally felt like god was talking to me. I have been struggling with grief and getting older, and how precious time really is. I have had these obsessive thoughts about dying and I have legitimate panic attacks over these thoughts. I think it’s a combination of losing loved ones, and going through the grieving process. As well as, becoming of an age that I believe is mind and life altering(my mid thirties.) it gave me a little comfort knowing that there are other people who are going through a similar experience as I am. Even if it was just for a moment, it gave me a little relief knowing that I’m not alone.

I went through the same last year. You have to find solace with it. What helped me is thinking about what could be after. Also reading stories from people in their 100s. Very possible you could live for another 50 yrs or so. Stop thinking you’ll drop dead tomorrow and plan for living until you can’t anymore. I’m intentional when I speak. I will live until 100. Once I pass I look forward to a whole new life, as a whole new person who won’t even remember being here. It’s kind of exciting that way.
