@@pastorofmuppets325 We get it. You don't like John Wayne. You don't have to be an ass and LIE about a dead man because a bunch of people like you have no class and have to LIE to win points. Here's the reality -- a) John was 34 and tried to enlist multiple times. He was also a father with dependent children. The military does not like to accept or draft people in their mid-30s who have children! Likewise, it was not desirable to draft men who were the only sons in their families. Wayne also had existing injuries that cost him a sports scholarship in college. There were plenty of people who were denied enlistment because of existing injuries and ailments they had no control over from spinal injuries to flat feet and perforated eardrums! So those those people are all cowards and draft dodgers by your definition?!? Are you that stupid?!? b) He was a very popular actor and his employer, Republic Studios, didn't want to lose their star and interfered in his attempts at enlistment. If you honestly think a studio can't do this, then you don't understand the ability of corporations to influence what government does. They have done much worse in Hollywood including persuading the cops to look the other ways on major crimes -- prostitution, rape, and murder -- involving celebrity. c) There's far more evidence to the contrary that Wayne tried to enlist AND post-war, men who DID serve, like Jimmy Stewart and Robert Montgomery DEFENDED Wayne against people like you who behaved like idiots without understanding and knowing the facts about the situation! I don't care if you like John Wayne but don't lie. That says a lot about your character when you feel like you have to lie or spread lies to win an argument.

Brilliant only begins to describe how well this was written and executed. SNL couldn't spend $1 billion to make a skit this good today.

@@Rob_Kates TYhat's not fair, this cast has got some outstanding and talented members too. Kate McKinnon when she portrays Guliani is absolutely outstanding, and she's been hilarious in other roles also. Lately JC as Biden has been hilarious.

When you watch the same skit over & over for this many years it must be a classic.

Did anyone else notice at 6:24 the spring wire sticking out of the end of the bat... and Carrey must have noticed because he discreetly pushed it back in at 6:46.
