Johnny Ringo is a famous Outlaw or "Cowboy". He was one Ruthless dude one of the fastest gun slingers in the west, well some say Doc Holiday was faster. This Trilogy is based off of John Ringgold aka Johnny Ringo. If you really want a sense of Who Johnny was watch the movie Tombstone (with val Kilmer etc) it's about Wyatt Earp and his brothers and Doc Holiday and their run in with the cowboys Like curly bill and you guessed it Johnny Ringo. In the movie Doc Holiday explains how johnny is and you can see for yourself how Ringo was. Alot of these lyrics are from real quotes from Ringo himself and others . it'll make more sense when you watch the movie also i suggest researching him.

am I the only one thinking the devil repersents wrongs they've done but by trying to fix them they did more harm than good? the songs onbviously about johhny selling his soul only to die after and he wants revenge. the day of the rebllion he dreams of becoming an angel but wakes up to souls hes leading to defeat Satan but when they do Johnny takes control of hell and become even worse than the devil himself. the devil is johhny all along.
