ItsZifx I have a feeling they'll continue it at some point because that's one of the big things for Crown the Empire, I don't see how though because in the story, the Devil has been defeated, Johnny has won, I think they should create the extended music video/short movie thing, and then when a new album comes out, maybe introduce new characters or make a sequel to the trilogy, that'd be cool :D

okay guys for those of you who don't understand the Johnny series: in Johnny Ringo Johnny makes a deal with the devil but is tricked and is sent to hell instead. In Johnny's Revenge Johnny tries to get revenge on the devil but fails. In Johnny's Rebellion, Johnny creates an army of angry souls to defeat the devil but this time succeeds. However, he comes to realize his power & takes the devil's place. Hope this helps ! :3

I think crown the empire is one of the best metal/alternative type bands. Their music is amazing. They don't get annoying easily and I can go days and days and weeks listening to them and never get tired them. CTE deserves more viewers than many other bands. They don't get the attention like most bands which they deserve. This new album is great and can't wait for them to make even more in the future.

They should release an album and just title it Johnny Ringo. Start with the first three tracks (rerecorded or not it really doesn't matter) and then carry on the story. Maybe he leads his army onto the regular living world and eventually seeks to take heaven, then his army turns on him or there is an uprising and eventually he has an inner fight with himself and surrenders and has to find a way of redemption. There even got the name of the last track xD Johnny's Redemption. (Obviously they all have to be Johnny R....)

I don't know why but I've always pictured the whole Johnny story withe a woman as the Devil. Like, Johnny fell in love with the Devil and when he was about to die he signed a pact and sold hi soul. The Devil would always let him do all those things, like kiling sinners and bad people that hurt him (in Johnny's Revenge) but finally Johnny got sick of Hell and decided to raise an army in order to LIVE AGAIN. I like to think that the verse "I don't think I'm ready to leave" is what the Devil has told him and the rest of the song is about putting Johnny back into his place. It also may be the fact that Johnny wanted to live again and the moment he took Hell over was the moment he had to leave but he realised he doesn't want to. I also like to think that there's this thing og "You can't kill what's never been alive" - that's why the Devil is immortal. It would be cool to kind of... connect it with the entire story of revolution in this album. It seems that theb oys plan on doing a video for most of the songs (if not for all of them). Like they've started a story in "Machines" so... yeah... just wanted to share this. :)
