People are already speculating about Usagi being a secret antagonist, on the basis that - taking Jodio as the equivalent of Giorno - Usagi has a Stand named for a King Crimson song, and one that references 'rain that's falling'. The Alohaoe reference also seems to back this up since as well as the obvious Hawaii connection, it connects him to Elvis, who was the main villain's reference in part 8.

Rohan would to some level be known all over the world as even if one person in each town knew him word would easily spread as you could just look up chapters of his manga which would increase chances of knowing that stands existed if he stated so on a interview Because you know the internet However a story of a man who gets more and more money couldn't really be confirmed as easily or knew as much (or a street where people lose things ) if you look back at 2005 creepypastas as an example how many are believable or well-known. Rohan would have a much higher chance of spreading the word (Also a man having too much money and that killing him seems like a wives tale and losing things on a street just seems like someone being annoyed they keep losing things and blaming on a street) Theres also a level of memory retention as an example tom cruise being a Scientology person makes me remember that Scientology exists at all. There's a theory I've seen a lot, I don't know how plausible it can be but Rohan Kishibe could just be the writer name of Tsurugi Higashikata. I like this theory because they both have green hair and both their Stands are related to paper and can change in some way the person affected by their ability. Paper Moon King changes the perception of the victim, Heavens Door changes... well pretty much everything. The story is set after the Covid so between 2022 and 2023, Tsurugi, was 9 years old in 2011, so he would be 20-21 years old, which is the age of Rohan when introduced in part 4. I think that I'm overthinking but I really like this fun theory

I think the reason why araki isnt adding descriptions for dragona and jodio's stands is cuz he doesn't want to misinform the reader or make the stands exceed the readers expectations, like soft and wet in part 8. We got a description for The Hustler because its just a muscle deformation ability and nothing else. And Matte Kudasai was explained by Usagi.

THE Matte Kudasai is a riff on a Frances Yip song, because there are more than one 'matte kudasai' songs. The arc theme is ripoffs and counterfeits, inspired by isLANDS like Hong Kong and Hawaii. Aloha'oe is also basically echoing 'Chotto Matte Kudasai' lyrics and resembles Distant Dreamer by Duffy, that Araki personally recommended for Stone Ocean. Meryl Mei qi resembels Frances Yip, and I'd say she resembles Dr. Ferdinand too.

One thing that I think could indicate that some chapters of TSKR take place in the SBRverse is that Poaching Seashore has Rohan note that the coastal land they're poaching on is owned by the Higashikata family. It's certainly possible that Josuke decided to buy some coastal land with all that money he got after Tomoko unfroze his account, but in terms of Higashikatas who own a lot of land, it points to the Part 8 Higashikatas owning the coastal area and not the Part 4 Higashikatas. Of course, that same chapter has Rohan interacting with Koichi, Okuyasu, and Josuke, but none of these characters are explicitly identified as them, and we know a Part 8 character who could pass for Josuke from behind in the right circumstances. It's not the most airtight theory, but it would be interesting and very much like Araki to quietly swap between universes at his leisure to prank us a bit.

did you maybe happen to consider the possibility of this new Rohan being actually the one from newest one shots (Hot Summer Martha and Drip Painting Style), or in short, the possibility of the newest one shots being set up in SBR-verse already? I know there's absolutely no proof for that, but to be honest, there is no much proof for them to actually being set up in Ireneverse either (no strong reference to part 4 appears there). The fact alone that when we were awaiting part 9 the most, one year ago, we got that Kishibe Rohan one-shots instead, absolutely out of the blue. Surely, Araki wanted to refresh Rohan's character before his part 9 apperance but it would make sense if there was more to it, if he actually used this one-shots as something of "part 9 chapter 0" to set up some minor plotpoints (like Rohan's mental health issues, how he expiriences some fall into misery recently. That was definitly the focus of that one shots. Heck, maybe even the character of Bakin). Anyway, I surely feel like if we cling too much to the supposed fact that all of TSKR features only the original Rohan we may unecesserly face second confusing surprise soon (yeah, Im mainly basing this of a fact two newest one-shots are yet to get volume realese so the statement about original Rohan from previous volumes may not apply)

Here’s what I think happened to Rohan. It’s Rohan from the original universe but somehow the Wall Eyes brought him to the SBR verse. I know it’s extremely far fetched but knowing Araki at this point, anything is possible.
