I'm from Louisiana. My grandpa was a huge ND fan for no other reason than he liked the fighting leprechaun icon. So I've always had a soft spot for them. Kelly is a solid hire, assuming it gets finalized.

If kelly was plan B and woodward hired him I'm 1 day, them scott is better then we thought. To lure a 60 yr old as established as kelly on 24 hrs is crazy. I think Kelly was #1 and they had a secret deal and were going to wait til CFp announcement. Then boosters got mouthy and nervous after the Riley bailed so they had to just get it public to put fire out. But Kelly would have taken more time to make this decision especially with a possible playoff birth coming Saturday if ok st and bama lose.

If he gets a good DC, we'll be fielding a top tier defense again on top of having an offensive line that can control the line of scrimmage and run MFers over while paving the way for 100+ yard a game running backs. Having that again will do WONDERS for whoever is back there throwing the ball and put us into position to play at a high level again. Kelly is going to realize really quick just what he's been missing all these years once he gets a taste of the level of talent he'll be able to surround himself with at LSU.

Justin Jefferson 3 star... Jamar chase Terrace marshal all developed greatly over time. Now he has a whole new crop who are freshmen, yeah they dropped some here and there but so does every single one of the saints. Boutte the best in nation he's literally recruited and developed 3 or 4 belitnikoff potential winners. (Chase, marshal, Jeff boutte.) If yall think he hasn't developed then please tell me what Kevin has done as coach? He is my idol growing up and would love him to stay but I think Joseph is a hug piece especially with Kelly not being from here and needing relationships in NOLA.
