Through 8 games the Bills have scored 213 points and the Chiefs have scored 211 points. That’s as close as it can get. It’s by far the best rivalry we have right now. Every game is must watch TV.

A lot of Chiefs fans forget they didn't go to a Super Bowl for 50 years. I was genuinely happy when they finally Won, and I respect the organization for what they've built. I get talking crap, but lots of boneheads call Allen trash and believe he is. They only want their teams guy to be the guy. What makes football awesome is the competition between two great teams. The league has a lot of great QBs, and instead of pointing out their flaws, we should celebrate the greatness. There is nothing like watching to great teams, with two great signal callers go at it. Rather watch a competitive game than watch my team win a blowout. Good luck the rest of the way. Stay healthy, and hopefully, we get another classic out of these two. I like that the Chiefs fans like the Bills and I like that the Bills fans like the Chiefs. The Bills-Chiefs tension goes back to before Mahomes and Allen but this is currently the best head-to-head rivalry in the league right now. Every time BUF plays KC, the whole world is watching. Their rivalry is a microcosm of the rest of the league, it's a gauge. Buffalo-Kansas City is the NFL equivalent of the State of the Union address in the sport.

What I like about both franchises is they've both had their own growing pains, and neither team took the easy road to get where they are. The Chiefs got the head start and the Bills took notes. Buffalo and Kansas City went from somewhat irrelevancy to setting the tone and I think that's really cool when there are legacy teams like the Steelers and Cowboys that have storied histories. Buffalo and KC don't have those same legacy fans, much more organic fan bases. I like that we are not haters of success just because Mahomes took two of Josh's rings so far. We'll circle back around in time. Twenty years from now we'll have a better understanding of where this rivalry sits in time. All time great rivalry, top 5 in all pro sports of all time? Shohei v. Judge is the only rivalry I can think of in modern sports that gives Allen v. Mahomes a run for its $

Great QB rivalry the difference is Mahomes up until this year has been more consistent throughout his career and also has a better coaching staff IMO. Sean McDermott just isn’t anywhere near Andy Reid’s level of coaching offense and managing games.

There are people out there (Nick Wright) who say this isn't even a rivalry. The games themselves beg to differ. The ratings beg to differ. Every year, the Bills vs Chiefs is one of, if not THE highest viewed (non-post season) shows of the year. Every time they play, it goes down to the wire. Across 8 games, there's only a 2 point difference in Buffalo's favor. Problem is the Bills lost in OT in that 13 seconds game, then missed a FG with a chance to tie the last one. They got dominated in that first match, but that was the first season Allen legit became good. Nobody else has beaten Mahomes 4 times though, so even though it's one-sided in the W/L column come playoff time, the actual games themselves are far closer than people realize.

i agree about samuel but he's been dealing with turf toe all year. i think josh admitted that he was overlooking samuel and watched the tablet and saw how open he was getting, and made it a point to get the ball to him. he's been relatively irrelevant this season, but if he starts performing like he did against the chiefs, i dont know who stops the bills offense. cooper demands the top corner match up. coleman is physical and can win 1 on 1s against 2nd or 3rd tier defenders. samuel is quick. shakir is just filthy when he gets the ball. kincaid is good for a few big plays. knox can even pitch in. add in clutch catches/routes by hollins, the physical "fuck you" runs from cook, the big play ability from davis, and ty johnson coming up big on third downs. as a fan base, bills mafia wasnt confident in this offensive core, but as the season has gone on, it's an undeniably balanced and dangerous offense. combine that with allens legs and dear god. i think.. and i might be overreacting, but i think superbowl is a legit expectation. and that's not even including a ball hawking defense that shows up when called upon.

The thing about these matchups is Allen hasn't gotten past the Chiefs and I promise you they have this matchup circled every year as the only MUST-WIN game. Look at the post-game celebrations in the locker room. It matters to the players and to the fans. This truly seems to be their Super Bowl. This is just another game for the Chiefs. I'd be a bit concerned if I was a Bills fan with how much emotion these players seem to put into these matchups. Like they don't think they can win in the playoffs so they will beat the champs here. I mean WE know they can't but THEY shouldn't be thinking like that.

Last 4 years Bills are 4-2 against the Chiefs. 3 of the Bills wins came on the road. All of them were convincing wins… 1 blow out, 2 were game sealing picks from Mahommes, 1 was a turn over on downs on pitiful 6 play drive. All 4 wins are undisputed. No should’ve been a flag or bad call. Clean wins. In the 2 one-score games chiefs failed on their drive after the Bills had scored on theirs. No walk off wins. Chiefs always had a chance and they failed. The 2 chiefs victories are the biggest fluke win in NFL history and a missed field goal. If Allen was on the Chiefs and Mahommes was on the Bills. Allen would have more rings and more convincing wins... Mahommes wouldn't have had the same level of success in Buffalo. Team was a mess when Josh got here. Andy Reid wins with everyone.

QBs can only do their part. They can't do everything. And across an 8 game sample, there's only a 2 point total difference (in Buffalo's favor). I'd call that a rivalry, regardless of team accomplishments. Just look a Mahomes this year. Did he suddenly start to suck, or is his TEAM not as good as before? Why is he leading the league in INTs? Mahomes can only play with the pieces given to him. He only plays against the opponent's defense. He's not out on the field 1 vs 1 with another QB.
