Yes, I’ve started painting them, though I want to do them very quickly indeed. Not sure if it’s worth another tutorial series, though perhaps a one-off video with the focus on speed painting is the way to go.

I've enjoyed painting mine so far. But the golem's have been kind of challenging to emulate the reference artwork. Getting those tiny crevice's to have that bright blue lightning look with the surrounding skin looking like rock is kinda tricky. I ended up having to create my own white+blue wash for those inside parts, and then relying on over-brushing for the rock surfaces. I'm curious how you decide to tackle them.

The lazy way - I've ignored the lightning look and just drybrushed them grey with a blue gem in the forehead. Told you I'd be doing them quickly! :) Perhaps I might go back one day and add detail, but then the figures aren't really good enough to make it worth devoting large amounts of time to them.

Would be great to see more painting tutorials using the armies in this game. That way you can show techniques on how to quickly paint larger armies. Thanks for the video!

Yes, on further reflection not the best description to use ... ;)

So... Are you going to paint these miniatures, Universal Head?

Exactly what I was going to ask.

After a couple of years, where would you put this one vs the other ones you were referring to? (1st ed, westeros etc...)?
@EsotericOrderGamers6 жыл бұрын
Last, I'm sorry to say. Classic 1st ed BattleLore is more fun and has more character (and lots of expansions). Westeros is more involved and interesting (a very different game really). Memoir 44 is always great. FFG didn't support this for very long and I wouldn't particularly recommend it.
