It really is amazing how much stuff you get when you don't have to pay the middle men (retailers) with their 50-100% mark up. You are buying straight from the designers and thus get more content for your money. That's the single best thing about Kickstarter IMO.

There is a pledge manager open for Mythic Battles Ragnarok at present that also has all the Pantheon stuff reprinted. Open till the end of the year... Have you done a battle report for MBP?

No I haven't sorry. I've enjoyed it when I've played it, but I've yet to use anything beyond the core box!

Just got my 2nd shipment today, I also got the Poseidon expansion and the 3d terrain set. Got to say I agree, very good quality. I really like how on some of the models they used a different kind of plastic on some of the longer weapons so they ren't all bendy. I know they aren't the first to do this but its the first time i've seen it in person and from what I see it works really well.

Yes, the spear shafts held by Zeus and hades in particular are impressively long, thin and, most importantly, straight.

I had the same feeling as well regarding I should have gone all in. Oh well. I did get the conan crossover expansion. I felt like more maps would have been preferred over more minis but at least there was a free map to print out in the KS updates.

Great unboxing as always. I have to say I went all in and in really is an intimidating amount of stuff. Not only to paint but to store as you said. Then of course I will eventually have to make space for Joan of Arc. The struggles of gaming... indeed!

I managed to give a table-ready paintjob (base coats and washes) to the forces in the Getting Started book in just one day. For me at least, the answer is developing techniques to paint figures a lot faster!

I like the extra goodies from Kickstarter, as it is great value. Do you think that we are at "peak Kickstarter"? Do you think that this business model is sustainable, and we will see more massive amounts of minis in the future?

At the moment, the gaming public demand for miniatures-heavy Kickstarters seems insatiable. And I'm guessing the next campaign - the Batman game based on Conan - will go nuts.

Yes, there are 2 solo scenarios in the Scenario Book, and quite possibly more to come.

There is a solo campaign in the mythic battles compendium and another in the Titans expansion. plus people are creating more solo scenarios and posting them on the company web site.

Have you played yet, the game knocks conan for 6, there is so much replayability in this it's pretty much infinite. With Conan, I found once you have played a scenario once or twice, that's it... Mythic Battles batreps please :)

I would guess it's only possible because of low overheads, big Kickstarter cash injections, and economies of scale.
