Hey Shane, I admire and am inspired by your spirituality. In spiritually there is the belief that everything is energy. Ive always stayed away from thrifting because you dont know whose energy is attached to the things you are buying and what you are opening yourself to. Do you agree?

Shane maybe it's just me, but i feel weird to use second hand/thrifted clothes. I feel like objects can carry people's energy. Do you smudge them, air it out in some sun? Again maybe it's just me😅 Also your mom is the OG fermentation/DIY queen ❤!

That’s a great question. It’s true that many items carry unwanted energies and are best to avoid, especially plenty of antiques I’ve encountered. But I’ve found it all depends on the object and its history. Would I purchase an old, worn-down religious statue that gives me the creeps? No. But items that are obviously well cared for, like high quality clothing, both look and feel “good”. And often times any residual energy can be cleared easily or will go away with time. Always use discernment.
