2 things... 1) I really appreciate the way you separate the parts and talk about where they go in parts of the song. 2) I really appreciate the way you talk pinning the parts to shapes, as this was a key to making transposition on the fly possible for me years after I started playing, and hopefully newer players can save themselves the headache of having to re-learn lick shapes on the spot because this weeks worship leader is doing the song higher/lower. 🤜🤛

The first note of the riff is the key of the song, so if your chord chart has you playing in C, for example, the first note would be C on the G, or third, string. Bradford is playing in D flat, so thats why he starts on the note he does.

Nice to you see you playing one of your Suhr’s. Curious, what are your favorite Suhr HSS and SSS Pickups?

Thank you! This is super helpful! Is it difficult to dumb down a Helix preset to make a POD Go version?

Question. If playing lead only, with a vintage reissue SSS Strat, would it make more sense to have a humbucker in the bridge? Avoid playing on the neck pickup?

If you want to play the chorus like Brad and maintain your dignity by not using a capo I suggest using the E shape on the DG and B strings.
