"gusto ko mag pagupit" kinda translates to "i want to get a haircut" which they're singing in a context of cutting things off and moving on something fresh and new from the past, such as a new hairstyle ^^ this collaboration between alamat and the juans was great, I hope they collab more in the future! I loved how they use the noises of scissors snipping in the audio, lowkey addicted to that noise when im having my own haircuts hahaha I mostly say "pampagupit" when saying hairdresser, the literal translation is basically "person who cuts hair"

We usually call them barbero for men, hairdresser as well for women in hair salons. Yes, gupit is 'to cut' in general, and pagupit/magpagupit is usually 'to have a haircut'. U actually got the gist of the song, hehe. I love the sound of this collab!

Been waiting for this RV😍😍😍 This is song talks about Getting a "HAIRCUT after BREAK UP"(oh, i like the word 😆☺️), btw it is a Filipino Pop-culture.. oftentimes it is taken seriously whenever a person is in this kind of situation.. or sometimes it is a joke( of being brokenhearted) to person with a new haircut. Gupit means to cut.. magpagupit meas "to get s new haircut".

I was kinda confused when you read the writers of the song, you recognized The Juans members and not Alas & Mo, so I thought maybe you don't know their names yet.
