I’ve loved this song since it was on the radio in 1994. I remembered them from MTVs 120 Minutes. This is an all time masterpiece. Well, 26 years later sounds great as ever. Pandemic listening, 4/1/20.

Casey Tuohy agreed powerful album! A buzzsaw sound!
@quintuplebanned42674 жыл бұрын
Casey Tuohy I never understood this - I introduced this band (just by playing them, also as a dj on the radio station) to so many people in college in Minneapolis, and Seattle, and everyone loved them, I mean, they LOVED them. People would have LOVED THEM. They were commercial enough to break through, and alternative enough to still be cool, I really never understood it. The lead singer could be a dick in interviews, bu lead singer wasn’t? I saw them in Seattle, it was a tiny crowd, and they were clearly pissed, but those of us who were there, couldn’t be more excited to see them. They played a perfect show, because they are just that good, musically, far and away beyond their peers, and has the integrity, obviously, but they were kind of assholes. But I can understand their frustration - being so much more skilled as songwriters, musicians, singers, and such excellent lyrics, and what a voice and those incredible harmonies. Those gorgeous layered guitars, and the versatility. A major injustice.

I was in band that warmed up for them in Nashville at 328 Performance Hall in 1993. Their drummer said, "Hey, just use my gear and not worry about your rig." That never happened before or since. Great guys.

This song got airplay from W EQX VERMONT back then, collage stations were always bringing new music to the people in radio land, that's how I heard them. This cd doen not have a skip song on it . And I still play it at times. Woke up at 430 am for work , and being simple was playing in my head, so I had to fix that. Judybats
