It’s pretty simple actually Just grab the flour and some water and add water until you get the perfect mix Being a Mexican and growing up with mostly only hand made tortillas, you learn fast and fingers get real used to the heat 😂 Seriously good tho, he made it a bit too thick but pretty good

I made birria tacos this week and I screwed up by not braising my beef properly. They meat wasn’t tender and a bit undercooked. I still made it work though, as the consume (sp?) was still spectacular and the beef could be flash cooked alongside the tortillas just before I put it all together. Turned out super good, even after I botched the recipe. You can’t go wrong with these.

Traditional birria is a stew, you cook the meat in water with seasonings and veggies then remove the veggies and serve it like that. The tacos are simple too, just shred the meat after it’s been stewed. I’ve made it a handful of times now and it comes out well each time, I simmer it for about three hours.
