Keith Mitchell was such a wonderful actor AND singer. I loved his voice. I have a double album of Man of La Mancha that had the complete Man of La Mancha dialogue and music. His character in many episodes of Murder, She Wrote was wonderfully entertaining.

I have his long playing album, I'll Give You the Earth and on the flip side, Henry VIII, songs of His Time. I never get tired of listening to it. In particular "I'm Surprised".

@@ivelissediaz9583 I had that album until it was stolen. Obviously one of my "friends" also liked the album. I loved that record. He was definitely one very talented man.

I have enjoyed every episode of this amazing series. I worked 3-11 shifts in the hospital when it first aired in the 70’s, so I never got to see it. Julie is the consummate entertainer who sings, acts, and dances with such ease and grace. She makes it all look so effortless. I am sure she was exhausted after just one series and not too sad on a personal level that it wasn’t renewed. Occasional specials spread out over time worked easier on her as a mother, wife, entertainer, and author. She remains the hardest working entertainer to this day and has outlived her male co-stars and contemporaries, except for Dick Van Dyke.

I would have loved to see Julie do a whole classic theatre piece, maybe a comedy by Shakespeare or something. I think she would be great

I remember the Saturday version. I looked up the actor. He was more of a stage actor in Britain and his own country than on t.v. or movies. This was also a great exercise for Julie Andrew's acting. I never thought that Julie couldn't portray other kinds of roles, just because she did Mary Poppins and Sound of music because she could.

I never hear of him . I barely watched p.b.s back then, except for the series with Glenda Jackson as Queen Elizabeth.

Are they doing kiss me Kate or Taming of the shrew? It sounded more like Kiss me Kate.

Kieth Michell is dead. He died in 2015 at 88. He is an Australian actor. No wonder I never heard of him.
