Of the entire Indiana Jones franchise, Four is the weakest, in terms of effects, script, etc. but at least the John Williams soundtrack saves about 75% of the movie.

I consider the original trilogy to be the greatest films of all time with this one just being average. It’s not bad but it doesn’t hold up to the other three. Hopefully Dial of Destiny is really good.

@@thetin-candalorian3319Yeah Dial is flawed, but as of now it is the worst for me, coz of how pissed off I really was throughout the whole experience.. Probably due to the fact that the whole movie felt sluggish, and it doesn’t capture that Indy vibe for me.. Sure he may be old, but I felt it could have been done differently or not done at all.. Maybe my opinion might change somewhere in the future just like Kingdom did for me, where when I first saw it, it felt mediocre.. Then I rewatched Kingdom again in time before Dial and for some reason, I kinda appreciate it a lot more than my first viewing.. Sure, some of the CGI in Kingdom hasn’t aged well and its obvious as hell, and there were some pacing issues here and there, but I was able to appreciate what Lucas and Spielberg were doing, even though there were some questionable decisions in the process.. But Dial broke me completely.. I am a huge fan of James Mangold.. He did Ford v Ferrari, which was phenomenal as hell (Even had the same runtime as Dial!), and of course Logan/The Wolverine, which I really enjoyed and loved at the same time.. But here, I really didn’t get what he was going for…
