this is not a radiator cover, it is a luggage rack also specially designed for the BMW topcase. Good luck with your machine. I have the a white one from 1990, no adjustable window yet. I bought it new back then.

I have a 1990 K75RT I bought new. Great bike. Just has a few issues. Need to pull the rear drive, clean the driveshaft splines and lube it frequently with a high content moly grease from Guard Dog or Honda.

Yep, I've been doing that every 1500 miles just to be safe. It's a little insane but it's good to stay ahead of it.

Tank bag is especially made for the bike as tank is aluminum.

@19:40 you wonder what the deal is with the side cover. There ought to be a cylindrical sleeve on the quarter panel, that takes up the pin on the side cover. For what it's worth, I notice some holes, that do not seem to be original, as if someone tried a retainer pin to take up the slack.

It's wonderful. obviously this is an old bike now so it's slower and braking takes a bit longer but the motor...the inline triple is so smooth, quiet and easy to ride. I love it.

Thanks for the vid, very informative. I don’t know if you still have the bike, but how did the YSS rear shock go? I am about to fit one to my ‘93 K75S to replace the old original. It looks to be identical to the one you have, an ME302. Cheers from Aus.

I still own the K75 and the YSS Shock is still on. It's absolutely an upgrade from the OEM that was 25 years old. It's a 'dumb shock' so just spring & compression with no adjustability aside from pre-load but it's fine. The bike is a lot more bouncy on speed bumps or pot holes than my R1200GS with fully adjustable shocks from Tractive but that's not a fair compression. Old Bike + dumb shock. It is way less floaty and bouncy than the OEM was.

@@AdamChandler86 Good stuff Adam, haha, the K bikes sort of grow on you after a while ( 29 years ). Preload is probably enough for the rear anyway, I guess. The bike just isnt a sporty bike ( my 'S' ), more a big mile eater. With fuel economy from brim full, mine gives, ridden ahh.... enthusiastically, about 240 - 250 kms to the warning light and ridden gently, about 250 - 260 kms. Manic fuel pump whirring and a distinct lack of forward motion occurs about 310 - 320 kms.

Interesting! I look forward to your maintainance of your K75 RT. Mine K75 RT (kzbin.info/aero/PLg310CEokjEgL2qsWuAN4joq_GlK4GvM8) is a former German police K-bike and I already maintained it to 80 percent last year. But probably I can learn here something (especially about changing the springs and the YSS-suspension) from your next videos.

Thanks Kitze. I won't be doing very many in-depth videos but if you have specific requests, I can explain the process. I've found on KZbin, there are quite a few good tutorials already so I felt my videos would be a duplicate of already established documentation.
