Yes and not forgetting of course the heart brain and the gut. We must think from the heart centre, perhaps that is the higher self.. The mind is merely a processor. I pray that everyone begins to think and guide themselves this way. In a divine way. There wouldn't be the fine messes there are if people did so. 🙏

I'm very curious how the Centers system works with this. I thinkkkkk it might actually use gut as the input from Higher Self. Although none would *be* higher self inherrently...Since it is the physical part. But all could mirror aspects of Higher Self. It would likely depend on whether you were in a place connected to Source Energy. If so, then perhaps they would all allign. But the gut "intuition" is often understood as direct insight from Higher Self.

The answer to Yehuda’s question is that you give tzedaka to the community in order to rectify money that you stole from someone you can’t track down. His other example is chilul Hashem, which death gives a kapparah for. Yes, you can’t always reach a person. They might be so angry with you that they completely block you from their life and asking three times with messengers is the minimum required in that case. his questions might be theoretical, but they do have halachic answers, albeit not under the umbrella of the exact topic of this class.

*death is the kaparah for chilul Hashem precisely because it is the ultimate form of teshuva - literally returning to Hashem when you leave your body. Dying al kiddush Hashem is also a great form of teshuva for chilul Hashem, but you’re not always given that choice.

SO This month of Elul is a time to focus on teshuva and to do the rituals of rekindling our relationship with Hashem so that as we get to rosh hasana we can truly feel joy that, yes the king , our creator also saw, and came to us and said "wonderful, you do regret it, I am opening the doors of renewell to you! We did the work and we can re-cocreate a better healed life with Hashem

Question about trauma: when someone looks at their traumatic experience and doesn’t say that it’s for the very best bc our sages say this world is not appropriate for that kind of understanding- how is one supposed to move on and not live in the past? Additionally, how do we reconcile all the Sfarim that are write about the most traumatic experiences one may have faced, GD Forbid, being for the very best - as a means to help ppl overcome the past. (I hope my question is clear!) Thank you!

Our sages very much encouraged us to see how that everything that happens in this world is for the good - "gam zu l'tova", and "everything that Hashem does, He does for our good". That is the the very mitzvah of emunah. Perhaps what you are referring to is the talmud's discussion on the blessing "Boruch Dayan Ha'emes" - that we don't make a blessing that everything is for the good on life biggest challenges, for the good that will come from it will only be clear in the next world, and for now we can certainly acknowledge that challenge and struggle is a reality. That teaching however is not there to negate the work of emunah - to know that challenge is good - but to give ourselves a firm, humbling, and realistic starting point - "This IS hard. This DOES hurt. But now I have to slowly begin the holy work of emunah, to find, realize and eventually experience, as much as possible, the good in it too, even in the hear and now of this world." Even if it takes years, decades, a lifetime, or beyond...

I do not understand your point of view. Why such a negative sentiment? Why would you bismirch anyone who is seeking the Source of all sources in genuine humility and honesty? Have you heard the phrase, "Judge not lest you be judged?" Be very careful my friend. BTW I am not a Kabbalist, but I appreciate their wisdom and pursuit of HaShem. :)
