Just beautiful! I love that you are informative about the “ways” of the animals. I would like to know more about the “personal” lives of giraffes and gazelles etc. Of the prey as well as the predators. Also, do they have names like the lions? How long is their life spans etc. I can google it all, but the animals seem more intimate if told while watching them. You all are great!! I so love & appreciate your passion for creation!!💕

love big cats..they fasinate me..but cant get my head around how little protection around ther jeep..the lions do ignore them but if they wanted to surely they wud just make mincemeat of them??...do they just know the lions that well?..thanks for any answers

Enda, these animals are habituated to the vehicles and do not attack them or the people within them Please go check out our blog, www.malamala.com/blog/theyre-more-afraid-of-us-than-we-are-of-them This will address your questions and you will have a better understanding as to why it is not a problem to be in an open vehicle at close range with these animlas. I know the horns serve as the buffaloes protection, but they have got to be bothersome to have when it comes to getting rest. They can’t even lay their heads down when they sleep. They have to sleep sitting up because of how the horn protrude.

Hi Mike, you can tell the difference between a male and female buffalo by looking at their horns. The males horns are much larger and fused in the middle whereas the females have a gap between their horns.
