One question please. If you pack up a wet camper, is there any water ingress into the sleeping area? It's the one thing that concerns me. Love the platinum and seriously considering one soon. Your tutorials are excellent. Thanks for sharing

G'day Michael, good question 👍. So since we live in the sunshine state, we have managed to avoid any pack ups while its raining. We talk about leaving both side entryways open to avoid damage, however it's is pouring and you have no choice to pack up in the rain. We would recommend closing the side where the rain is coming from, canvas only. Then on the downwind side, leave it 1/2 open to allow the air to escape. We have tested this procedure and works well. The only catch is, when you go to open it up when you get home or your next site, be VERY CARFUL, and SLOWLY, open the Kamper to the point where you can manually ensure the Canvas is clear of any pinch points. The turtle wins the race, and avoids damage at the same time. 👍🍺 Cheers Scotty 👊

Can you have the awning attached on the camper all the time? So you don’t have attach every time you go?

G'day Simon, Sorry mate we have been on holidays overseas. In theory short answer is yes, there is a way to fold it up including the awning, however to be honest, its so easy to put-up, we normally recommend removing it. At the end of the day, it adds about 3 minutes to remove and fold the awning, as apposed to trying to origami it into the Kamper. Cheers Off-Piste Campers
