Our O line was PITIFUL. we need more vets and composure up front. similar to the bucs game our O line was in shambles and had multiple players out of position. it's a team game and Mahomes O line was SUPER dysfunctional to say the least. Well this year people woke up when it happened, over and over. The refs being pro-Chiefs is no myth, it's been on full display for years. They certainly tried again in last night's SB with that early call against Brown, but they weren't prepared for the Eagles to blow the game wide open so quickly and the Chiefs having no answer. By the time it was 17-0, the refs must have realized that they couldn't tilt the game toward a Chiefs win with anything short of blatant cheating. And then, the gig would be up. Bottom line is, the refs are there to call the game favorably for the Chiefs, but they can't win the game for them when the Chiefs play bush-league football like they did last night.

If you look at what the Eagles did, they built their roster correctly. When they drafted Hurts in the 2nd round, they knew he was a project who needed time to develop (if he would develop). The Eagles sat him for a season but upgraded the resources around Hurts, like 2 #1 receivers, a great run blocking offensive line and a solid defense. One underrated move was to take a chance on Mekhi Becton. Most people thought he was signed for offensive tackle depth. But, no, the Eagles converted him to guard, so they have a 6'6" 360 lb guard who is a mauling run blocker while his pass blocking weakness against speedy pass rushers was minimized. Yes, the Eagles won this Super Bowl because they built their roster the correct way.
