He chose Texas because of Sark, not to sit under Ewers for 2 years. Ewers is weak. Arch has the skills to get Texas a National Championship, and win the MVP and the Heisman in the same year, year 2 as the full time startee. Thats the problem.

The fact that hardly anyone in this comment section is mentioning the atrocious play of his o line beats me. Either causals or only like to blame QB play. It is everyone’s fault but his. This falls on the coaches for not having a disciplined roster (lead the league in penalties) and the general management for all of the personal issues. They spent money on skill positions but didn’t do a thing to help his O line. The line was bad last year. It’s even worse this year. Kenyon Green is the worst guard in the league. They moved him to the bench when they play KC and the line looked better. Idk why that started him against the ravens. Laremy Tunsil is the most overrated and overpaid player in the league not named Kirk Cousins. Houston’s front office is a joke like always. Always have had poor management. This is not a CJ Stroud problem this is a Houston Texans problem. They will ruin him like ever other talented QB they ever had. It’s not exactly easy to score points when you are the most sacked QB in the league 2 seasons in a row, have the most penalties in the NFL, a banged up receiving corps with no depth, and only one capable running back. Mixon can’t run the ball every play. That’s the only reason why they aren’t dead last. And the defensive play.
