Yuuhi Yuugure and Yasumi Utatane, two high school voice actresses who just happened to attend the same school and coincidentally got placed into the same class, are the two hosts of a radio weekly program. As fellow classmates and voice actresses, they show all the listeners their great friendship! At least, on the surface. In reality, the quiet girl Chika and the gyaru Yumiko are complete opposites. And they absolutely cannot stand each other. Off air, chaos and insults erupt. On air, they're the best of friends. Just where will this tumultuous relationship lead them?

I'm just gonna say, I've never been so envious of a character before. Kimura!! How I've always wished to see the karaoke moments of my favorite VAs, and covering each others song. The amount of tsundere energies i get from this anime have always been fulling for me. I also couldn't imagine disliking someone and not wanting to let them down. I'd say that is great respect right there, not dislike. Sato and Watanabe are probably competing on their tsundereness too (if that's even a word 😂).

I know it's an important tension in the show but I kinda hope they evolve away from this rivalry angle and toward more genuine affection and regard. They clearly dig on each other deep down. Guess it's the softie in me, but I've never been as into bitter rivalries. They've done a good job of showing that quite a bit of the hostility is a front or maybe more accurately, a defense mechanism. It's kinda amusing since I feel like Watanabe has come close to dropping the barriers several times but Sato can't help but say something to antagonize her every time. (Generally due to her insecurities, which feels true to life.)

I definitely agree with you, I don't love the rivalries, but this has been a breath of fresh air for me. Glad to see new dynamics in anime.
