I actually experienced hard pity at 89 which is very very rare. Ever since then I never got past the 82 mark on all of my wishes. Bear in mind I have a few c6 characters as well so that amounts to alot of wishes. I believe it was in standard when I wasnt whaling a bit back then. Was a keqing too. Although I wish I can get exactly 90 which make my account like a luckiest unlucky pulling session xD.

1:42 Actually correction. Soft pity starts at 74 wishes. If you fail to get a five star within 73 wishes the chances of getting a five star starts increasing by 6% each and every wish from then on. 73 = 0.6% 74 = 6.6% 75 = 12.6% 76 = 18.6% 77 = 24.6% For the weapons banner it’s 64 wishes instead of 74. And you get the idea.

@@titanium9173 Getting a 5 star at 90 is not almost as rare, it is significantly rarer, the chance is (roughly) 1 in 14 million. And yeah, I have yet to see anyone hit 90 with proof besides that one person that won a competition in CN for it (though given how massive the game is there have to be some people that hit it since then, they just don't know how incredibly rare it is so they don't post it. Most that claim they hit it lie though, unfortunately).

Man, I had exactly same situation. I even lost to Jean as well. Exactly 88 pulls for Jean and 88 pulls for Childe. I wasnt even happy then he came home, I was in "finally" mood. And worst of all it was Albedo savings. But this story has a happy endidng because Albedo was nice enought to came home anyway. And I ended up enjoing Childe's gameplay alot, so no regrets. Last year, I was pretty much having this same situation, I grinded the golden apple archipelago and other maps dry to get him and I didn't get him (lost 50/50 to Diluc but still I managed to do around 78 more pulls). And guess what? Next day when the banner changed, I did one pull and got Yoimiya. I love her and she carried my account in abyss a lot. But the fact that I was just one wish away made me so sad that I wanted to quit forever. Anyway now I have enough to get him finally.

Man, you are too afraid of saving for Eula. I've seeing the Fontaine leaks for a good time and i can 90% guarantee you that she won't come with a rerun until 4.4, very unlikely, so you can literally spend all of your primogens now and still will have enough primos. A simple math that i do is: every two updates you get enough pulls to guarantee a 5-star. This worked for me since 1.0.

I had to go to 74 and then 78 for Ayaka because I lost the 50/50 first. I didn't have enough wishes yet so I had get some primos(after losing) and I wished by one starting at around 15 pity. I saw what felt like an endless sea of blue wishes(with the occasional purple) before I finally got Ayaka. I felt dead inside. The next day though I was really happy.
