For the alcohol reference, in all my years drinking alcohol I have never hallucinate an alien entity attacking me or my family. Maybe I'll have a crazy dream, but for the whole family to claim they were all attacked unless their alcohol is laced with peyote or acid lol. I always hear that statement by saying "were you drinking?" It's just absurd.

Alcohol in itself won't make you hallucinate, but your brain does it quite often. Last week I was drinking at a friend's house and a friend tells me to look outside, I do and see a fucking dude there in the dark, I look a second further and I realise it's just some clothes Still, hallucinating an alien attacking your family is a lot

Again even if it does make you hallucinate it rarely would make a whole family see the same type of entity and explain it almost identical as what the other person explain, example: even if a group of people binging on meth for weeks with no sleep wouldn't all agree on the same vision they have.....would they? Give me a story please!! I would love to hear that..

This account and the Flatwoods Monster incident have always stood out in my mind because they each are unique in that there are no other encounters like them that I've ever read or heard of. What has always stood out to me about this case is that out of all 5-6 adults there, no one wanted to stay behind while the police were being notified. They were ALL terrified. Also, living out in back country, they had seen tons of meteor showers. They weren't incompetent. And they also were natural hunters of wild life who knew all the creatures that lived in the wild country surrounding them, so, I think that we shouldn't treat these people like simple uneducated hillbillies. 🛸👀

what kills me is it seems so simple. What do you do when your car breaks down (at least back then), ... you walk to the nearest house to get help. That's all they were doing. Leave it to a bunch of hillbillies to shoot first and ask never bother to ask ...

As a very young child, we stopped alongside the roadway, with other cars, to watch a UFO. The episode is still strangely fresh. Of course we had no idea what, exactly, it was. Even at my age I knew whatever I was watching was wondrous. And old, grizzled farmers would discuss it without a hint of skepticism because everyone knew someone they trusted that had seen it. That might be the best evidence that SOMETHING happened. About 1960 near Memphis, Missouri.

What makes the Kelly-Hopkinsville Incident notable is that it happened in a time before UFO sightings were publicized or fashionable to make. There were a few movies, but it's unlikely that such rural people would have seen them, or even owned a television set or were able to make frequent trips to the movie theater. Because of the era and geographical place this happened, I think the desire for publicity can be ruled out. Whatever these simple country folks saw that night, I think they were genuinely sincere and genuinely frightened. (Also, rural people know what owls look like.)

I don't know why, but the bit where the little bugger is peeking through their window at night is the scariest part of the whole encounter for me. Not the hair grabbing, not the floating, but that! i think awaking in the night to see anything or anybody peering in at you from outside your window is in itself abjectly terrifying, that it would be something so bizarre like these entities would tip someone over the edge - the kind of experience that can drive one insane in a lovecraftian way, or at the very least result in PTSD

I love the "Owl" theory. You trying to tell me that folks who are next-level country, who have spent their entire lives in the woods, mistook an owl that they have probably seen a million times, for an alien. What a lazy theory. Thanks for totally debunking this theory. It's right up there with the "swamp gas" theory.

They are real.. I've seen TWO before in 1996 and 2008 with my neighbor.. here in southern Ohio.. it really does take seeing to believe I say.. The first was a very very star like bright blueish white hamburger shaped craft! with a halo around it. shot off into space to the stars instantly!! no joke, it really did. and THEN "now a small little dot" watched it go to three more different stars in a perfect triangle pattern.. and very quickly!? It was by far the strangest thing I have ever witnessed! Until 2008, when me and my neighbor saw an other worldly massive saucer shaped ufo.. with 5 to 6 huge apparent reddish amber orange lights! it appeared out of nowhere over our town sitting at a 30 degree angle hovering stationary and silent for about 10 seconds before disappearing in place! my neighbor yells.. "UFO!!" and they it was... scarred our minds for life! I think it was a mothership. it was way way too huge for this planet.. could've housed a city of people! easy! I think it came from a place 3 or 4 times the size of earth! this sighting confirmed what I already knew... we are definitely NOT alone!!!

This really is a fascinating story. The actions of the aliens make no real sense. They weren't being aggressive but they most certainly seemed to be tormenting the family. The interesting theory (for me) is that there was some problem with their craft that needed time to repair. When they realised Billy Ray Taylor had spotted the craft...a couple of them went to the house to keep the family "otherwise occupied".
@combineconformist

Having watched the entire video here's what I think. The kids tricked the adults. Maybe the kids knew aboit the meteor shower and put enough credible pieces together with some good old fashioned excitement and got one over on the adults. Maybe a few adults got wind that it wasn't real but then turned on the others and acted like it was real to enjoy the good time. The rest of the adults left get way too spooked and go to the police which the children and participating adults don't fear because it's a small town and they know nothing will come of it. Remember some of the adults leave that night and don't go to the police and one said they never even watched the spectacle despite being there. The rest is anyone's guess, maybe they stuck with the story to avoid potential legal consequences once it got out of hand. I did find it interesting that all their descriptions seemed to be like everyday common objects with super abilities. Like the flying saucer and the washtub or the gas can. Maybe that was just the way of speaking at the time but it seems like a little bit of convincing language. I do think the owl theory holds some water. I generally believe in alien witnesses but this one always just seemed weird to me. Who knows though. Just seemed weird they didn't find footsteps on the roof.

I've noticed most of these videos aren't getting the views they deserve bc most ppl (like myself) search "alien encounter" "alien abduction" "personal testimony of alien... ect ect" bc ppl dont know them by name. But the content creators list them by name- so when we search we can't find em. Unless we already know of a channel that does this type of stuff (which takes some time to find for us looking) and also take the time to search their whole channel. Sometimes we get lucky and they have playlist put together. Sometimes we just have to dig so much we lose interest. It's kind of a big problem actually. Bc the content is here & the ppl searching for it are here too but youtube doesn't have a great system to link these 2 groups of ppl together. .. I know from experience. I've been searching for stories like these since 2012 on a regular nightly basis bc I like to listen to them as I fall asleep. They are unreasonably hard to find.

It is an unbelievable case of alien contact and aggression in the Amazon jungle, with thousands of witnesses (some still alive), air force involvement, conspiracies, terrifying attacks and tons of documents. I’m going to speculate on what these creatures could be. The eyes near the side of the head would mean that these creatures could be a prey animal in their original environment. The largeness of the eyes combined with the dislike for light could mean their habitat at home is dark, or has less light than we would be used to. Maybe these creatures evolved their intelligence as a way to survive larger predator species on their home planet? Possibly they live in a deep water or liquid type environment with little light? The stiff legs and the way it moved, combined with the appearance, they could be what we would call on earth, Amphibian. Now, I’m not someone who takes these accounts as gospel at this point, but it sounds like they were genuine in this account. Other accounts like one from Brazil near the same time claim a similar looking craft but these creatures were taller in black suits with hose pipes to the face. They even were noted to move rather quick like these ones in Kentucky. If I were to combine those accounts, maybe these could be similar or even the same species, and the black suit with hoses is supplying a moister to the skin or even water to breath? All speculation, but fun and spooky all the same.
@dominic.h.3363
@dominic.h.3363 Жыл бұрын
The speculation fails at the point that all species on the planet that showcase any amount of sentience are all predatory. It requires more brainpower to carefully plan out hunts, and the protein rich diet supports a more intricate brain orders of magnitudes easier.

@@LostArchivist Both biochemistry and physical appearance could be entirely different, depending on what planet you'd call home, but certain rules of evolution should apply universally, like which lifestyle encourages more brain development, being a herbivore or a carnivore, grazing or hunting. One shining example of how stupid herbivores can be are koalas, who only eat leaves that are even poisonous to them (offspring literally eat the poop of the mother to attain the gut flora to be able to tolerate that poison), and they would starve to death if you gave them eucalyptus leaves in a bucket, because they only recognize them as food if they are hanging as if from a tree. Then we have the carnivore turned herbivore, the panda, that needs to eat up to sixteen hours a day to not starve to death, because not only is their food of choice nutritionally poor, being biologically carnivores, they can't even digest cellulose. So all in all, most herbivores have a serious case of the stupid, and even carnivores get a significant IQ downgrade as soon as they turn herbivores.
@LostArchivist
@LostArchivist Жыл бұрын
@@dominic.h.3363 Cherry-picking cases only shows outliers exist, tardigrades are carnivores as are jellyfish and coral, none of them are intelligent. Gorilla are herbivores and they while not sapient are not stupid, or consider elephants, they are also herbivorious and are intelligent as well. Both exceed the intelligence of the majority of carnivorious animals, and like the smartest among them, they ate social. Socialization is a much stronger indicator of potential for intelligence in higher complexity animals than diet. I still hold that we do not know enough though to anticipate what could or could not be intelligent. Emergant complexity simply has too many variables to assume the coding will end up the same language translating to the sane organelles. If it is that uniform, aliens are the least interesting discovery we`d be making scientifically (not to mention philosophically). My point was there are examples at both ends for both carnivores and herbivores so it potentially factors out. We know there are sapient herbivores anyway (at least in potentia) though if one includes variations in human diet. But hey I hope you are right. I would much rather have that than intelligent cow-equivalent people.

As a member of a skeptic meetup I love this stuff. I love it even more because I have seen an immense equilateral triangle flying over me. It had a white light at each corner on its bottom side or I would have never seen it. I was stunned by its almost silence except a very vague kinda throbbing hum, as best I could hear. It was an overcast night so I could not tell all its features aside from the corner lights, underside and outside edge. But as it passed overhead I could barley make out that in the center of this huge triangle there was a "shimmering metal" appearance that was so dim I thought it was reflecting ground lighting (I was on Texas Hwy 287 north of Fort Worth/Blue Mound) from around the Highway but it was only reflected (if it was a reflection) in one large spot. It was so difficult to tell how high up it was except it was under the cloud cover. This also made it hard to tell how big it actually was. But it moved too slow to be an airplane nor did it have the lights airplanes have. It just moved towards where i was pulled over and began to turn East in the direction of I35 W across the approach of Alliance Airport but perpendicular to the airport. As I moved away the lights went out of site as the TRIANGLE flew with the its "leading" side slightly up. It quickly disappeared in the overcast night sky. At the time I thought it might be some gigantic dirigible since the bottom appeared to shimmer like it was not a solid shell. I have seen both the Goodyear and FUJI blimps except they did not shimmer as this did. I have no idea what i saw. But as a skeptic I have heard other skeptics give the most outlandish explanations that sounded worse/bizarre than saying it was aliens. I want to know but till there is hard physical evidence I still say whatever these type of sightings are they just fall into ...I do not know. And I am totally fascinated. Owls? Swamp Gas? light houses? and the worst of all: Drinking/weed. Drank a lot of top shelf Scotch and smoked some really good Dank but never have hallucinated, nor has anyone else I have ever known.

The number of people I see describing these triangular“TR3b” type craft in YT comments on UFO videos is astounding. The vast majority of people describe exactly what you described; a low flying, slow craft that’s either silent or with a low hum, just cruising around with corner lights and sometimes a red center light or a black shimmery center half orb protruding from the center. Some people describe it flying off at incredible speeds too. The only one I have seen was a classic silver disc type saucer flying off the coast of SF when I was a kid. It performed maneuvers that no conventional craft could possibly perform. While I obviously can’t claim they’re aliens, there is something flying around in earth’s atmosphere that shouldn’t be.

That's because they are demonically or fallen angels they are clearly described in the bible and or in the book of Enoch they are evil. And always been here since the Lord cast them down to earth out of heaven

I find it incredible that almost all these accounts took place in the rural south, sometimes in the rural north. Never in cities or heavily populated areas. Interesting.

I was thinking the same thing, they only seem to appear to rednecks. No disrespect, but it's interesting. Recently there was that appearance in Las Vegas, so there's that...

28:20 Wrong! Owls can indeed be luminous. When I was a kid we had a luminous barn owl that lived in the tree beside the house for more than two years. I believe this is caused by a certain bioluminescent fungus that can dust an owl's feathers and make it clearly visible to the naked eye.

I'm always shocked how the aliens in these types of encounters are always easy to draw and humanoid in body shape.

Why wouldn't they be humanoid? Why are human bodies shaped the way they are? Maybe it's the ideal form of a technologically advanced species.

@@roseg2239 you're right. Of all the I infinite forms intelligent alien life could possibly take then the humanoid form is probably the default. And they probably are roughly the same approximate size as us also (not the size of bacteria or giant Redwoods) and have the same relationship with time as us also (not move as slowly as plants or so quickly that they're a blur to us).

@@38dragoon38I mean the crab body schematic has independently evolved like hundreds of times on Earth. If most creatures who live on the sea floor tend to eventually evolve into something resembling a crab, space faring creatures might also have similar body schematics. We're the only creature that we know of that has been to space. Therefore it makes the most sense to depict them with a humanoid body plan.

@@38dragoon38 Just think about why we look the way we look. If there are aliens, they have a head and face like us. Why? To segregate the brain to the most physically safe location in the body-- a protective casing at the very top, that is, a head, because it is the furthest point of the body and therefor the hardest to attack. So they will have a head. What of a face like ours? Well what is a face? It's all of our sensory organs gathered together into the place on the body closest to the brain, because the closer the sense organs are to the brain, the less lag there is in sending nerve signals from them to the brain. The less lag, the better reaction time, so grouping all the sense organs together into a face that is close to the brain which is going to be on a head, at the top of the body: an alien would follow those body plans because they are mathematically the most optimal. Now, going along with the reasoning behind evolving a head, they will also likely be bipedal because being bipedal allows you to keep that head far away from danger and at the top of the body for the longest possible time, so they will have legs to stand on. In order to evolve intelligence at all you have to be able to manipulate your environment, so they are going to have tactile appendages for doing that; most body plans evolve symmetry so, assuming they have legs, they will have a matching set of hands to go with them. So on and so forth. I believe that any advanced alien species will follow all these basic body plans and end up looking like us through convergent evolution, simply because they are mathematically optimal. Aliens that look alien might exist, but they will never evolve a technological civilization and it is pointless thinking about them making it to earth.

I can't get over the fact that several adults drove to the police station at 2 in the morning because of owls or some known creature to then pretend it wasn't an owl or known creature. If they got spooked by owls then on the drive to the station realised it was a mistake they could have just turned around and no one would be any the wiser. The 50s were a hard time to live in, not horrendous but certainly more labour intensive than today. I imagine the older ladies days would have been filled with laborious jobs like cooking, cleaning and gardening. I'm sure by the evening time all sure would be wanting was her bed not to be kept up for hours with stories of glowing aliens. So I believe there was something for them to see and to be afraid of, what that was we will never know. I just don't see the point of making this up if there wasn't something genuinely there to see. I grew up in the countryside most of the time there's a huge amount of nothing happening and if you live in the country that tends to be the way you like it. This situation just seems to weird to make up just out of the blue, and for what end?
