We had the opportunity to go to the newest restaurant in Knoxville just outside the Smokies but it has a Gatlinburg connection! Welcome to the Kennedy! Kennedy Concepts, the same people who brought you Loco Burro and Puckers among other Gatlinburg hot spots is now in downtown Knoxville with a gastropub and cocktail lounge that elevates food to a fine dining level! They do also have late night hours and live entertainment!

Good Wednesday Evening, I always enjoy your introduction before you enter an establishment Brooks, you have a way with words. The decor is beautiful and reminds me of that nostalgic feeling especially the tin ceiling and booths. Brooks, I was totally surprised that you had a lack of words to describe your dish! Glad you enjoyed your choice and Christy, those 2 dishes were very different. I am not fond of arugula, too bitter but maybe spinach can be an option. That cake looked delicious but I am a diabetic and it bothers me at times because I usually can’t get desserts. I have a pity party! lol. Going to check out the menu. Very impressive restaurant! I’ve been wanting to go to Knoxville for a long time. When I lived out lake fontana , I always just have old fashioned tv antenna. Id get the Knoxville station (could see clingmans dome from house, so I was not far). I loved the Knoxville stations! They were always showing things going on, etc. seems like a really small town feel, for a city. They’d play the old series, Heartland. Loved those! Anyway, if I ever make it over there, I’ll go here.
