I realize the (Gain)/Loss on PPE and Proceeds on disposal of PPE are the same 973,000 - am I correct in assuming they're referring to the same funds? Also why is a gain negative i.e., in brackets?

The gain isn’t cash per say therefore it’s deducted . If it was a loss on sale of ppe then it would be added back in the statement of cash flows

What's your criteria for best? Rates, Customer Service, Access etc? VM Wealth and JMMB has the lowest rates. JMMB has their own platform called MoneyLine to make your own trades. VM Wealth integrates with JtraderPro. Both considered good in terms of Customer Service. Also heard good things about Barita, Proven and Mayberry. So as I said depends on criteria.

I’m just going start doing some investment, been watching a lot of videos to get a field cause it’s always something I like. I just want to go with a broker who’s rates are good, customer service is excellent, access to trade from anywhere and easy set my account up. Also good guidance and payout are good.

@@ingridtweetyparadise8952 I recommend reaching out to multiple brokers and getting a feel of their responsiveness. Ask them to share a plan to help you achieve your goals. Use the plans shared as a benchmark for which broker to go with. If the time comes and you're not closer to your goals then switch. Also if you're comfortable doing your own trades after a while then you can then just choose based on lowest rates in terms of fees.
