I would love a video on your insights on CRT. I raised my children at the kitchen table and with 8 children it was more of a small schoolhouse environment. 😊 Still, my answer to some of their inquiries was often "Think it through" in the hopes of developing their critical thinking skills. My older set of children are engineers and data analytics folks now, but teaching them to think "out of the box" is one of the many beauties of homeschooling. Also, I love that you are traveling with your children and exploring other cultures with them. We did this with our children over the years and it was extremely insightful. In fact, for a few years we hosted 4 Chinese students for the summers to introduce our children to the Asian culture. Then they were able to visit China on a mission trip and visited with two of the exchange students that had stayed in our home. Thank you for your service to the homeschool community. Homeschooling is close to my heart. It has been a joy watching your videos. Blessings🌺

I personally think that CRT is good and think we should be teaching it. I spent time with a sociology professor to learn more about it and what "some" people are presenting it as, and the fact that it is being taught even at elementary level is wrong.....but I think that we should teach it. There are differences in how people are treated based on the color of their skin. It is historical and it is present. We need to learn, to know and to act. I think that it is great you have introduced cultures with your children. I have been to China twice and look forward to taking my girls. Thank you so much for your comments and encouragement. blessings to you!

When we see someone on the street doing something different what we do. I either ask them How would they help the person to become better or What would they do different and why. Also when we see culture differences as we travel What can be the reason we behave so different? (My kids are 4,6)

This is great! What a way to encourage independent thinking.... And thinking of others. We had a lot of conversations about culture and differences when we traveled in Europe for 6 weeks over Christmas. It was good to see the way their minds were working.
