My Stack & Tilt coach is encouraging a “low and left” release. Your excellent video greatly clarified what I need to focus on. Thanks.

It took me 20 years to get to this video. Everything covered here is so right- from the chest down movement to the body continuously turning. The old teachings were basically bollocks. I had a natural swing - tried to improve it to get lower ball trajectory through a massive set of swing changes with 4 different pros and basically fecked my swing. Got to 4 and now back at 16. Hooks and slices and zero confidence. Started breaking it down 3 years ago and basically got a swing I can trust finally. Last round (play very infrequent these days) was 1 over for the last 15 holes. End with the ball I start with these days too as against lose 5-7 balls oob on the left each round. Starting to hit the ball further now too. All by basically doing what this video covers. Thx

I've been working on passive release for a while now. Have got it down with the irons for the most part. However I struggle with the longer clubs, the chest stall snap hook with the driver is vicious. Definetly going to try keeping the chest quick!

There is one sight that shows all the pros crossing their forearms after impact....opposite of what you are mentioning, but I do see both points. I can see getting "flippy" if one stops rotating. I can also see us high handicap golfers over rotating and pulling everything without the hands getting through enough. Just an observation! You are very good at your videos and teachings I should add! Not only can you coach and teach, but you are probably, from what I observe, a pretty good golfer as well! Lol!

I’ve seen those videos too. I see so many PGA tour pros with that release and rolling hands through impact. I find it so confusing to know what to work on.

After 40 years of golf I changed to this technique about 5 months ago and have changed my ball striking and accuracy significantly. However, I have no clue how to hit the driver...it could go anywhere. Hitting down on a ball seems to be easier than hitting up on it..

This is the holy grail for a lot of us who have released with the hands for a number of years but want to use this technique for consistency. Also please clean your shoes before videoing!

I have a passive release and I use a strong grip. I have to ask, would you happen to have a face on view of the passive release? I don't chicken wing with my trail arm, but my lead arm looks like it does and I don't think it's due to chicken wing tendencies or if it's just the strong grip + passive release combo.

Swing as hard as to can without hurting yourself?… seems a good intuitive way to learn.

Doesn't this cause your left elbow to flare out like that post-impact and cause a chicken wing? I've tried this and while it may work, I didn't like the fact that it gives me an ugly chicken wing post-impact.

LOL! Does it rain every night or is it your sprinklers? I swear, your golf mat is always soaked & splashing water when you hit, in your videos! So, same chest rotation process for a driver, I assume?

Ok so when he says the analysts don't know what they are talking about it should make you pause and think... Simply watch the swings of the pros. All the club faces are facing left at 90 degrees past impact unless they are hitting specifically a fade or high spin shot. This means their wrists are in flexion and turning the club head over. This gentleman's club face is always facing up at 90 degrees past impact. Doesn't mean you can't hit straight shots with this method but it certainly isn't the method the pros use.
