Jurisdiction aside, is not the primary reason Natalie has filed in CA and now MN that those are states with pretty solid anti-discrimination laws on the books? I understand that without a recent gender/sexuality specific law it would require parsing out the language in state constitutions, language of anti-slavery laws and laws passed in the reconstruction period, and even suffrage laws to determine what may or may not offer protections or leverage for Natalie, but are you aware of any other states where she could file?
