I watched my co-workers steal all the time, also the store manager had employees put stuff in his car!

I just quit Walmart and would watch coaches hide merchandise until it was Penny out then thy buy it . Also 5 coaches at my store were fired for stealing. I worked Electronic an every month a truck of iPhone 14s would go missing Humm

It was. Which is why they had an anonymous "rat your co worker out" hotline, where you were awarded soviet style for ratting on your friends.

I worked at TRU in the 90's and the distributive shrink was at an all time high, it accounted for nearly 80% of the companies total yearly shrinkage. The amount of merch leaving the regional distributor warehouses and never getting to the actual local stores was mindboggling.

Not Chicago sound new jersey to me
@dataslul10 ай бұрын
@n1238 That's a midwestern accent; not even close to Jersey. This could be Detroit or Chicago. Blonde lady with big hair has an accent from the tristate area, though.
@broadcastmyballs9 ай бұрын
@@dataslul The end of the video says it's from the location at Raritan New Jersey. The video in general is very New Jersey, most of the speakers have north jersey accents and look like people did in NJ at the time (especially the Puerto Rican-looking chick with big hair). HOWEVER the main woman of thew video probably was not originally from New Jersey. Her voice does have a Great Lakes Vowel Shift and so she's probably coming from an upper midwestern city, maybe from Buffalo/Western NY too.
@MeadeSkeltonMusic4 ай бұрын
I'm from Virginia and I feel like they have an accent up there but we don't
@1903txАй бұрын
@@dataslul I thought it was midwest too, but according to her obituary she was born in Rochester, NY and spent much of her career in in New Jersey.

@fairfaxcat13124 ай бұрын
What we have here is a video presentation directed to employees of the toy store chain entitled, “Toys R Us.” The presentation is not necessarily intended for viewing by the general public, particularly the customer. The customer approach is to highlight the material benefits of the product and, in this postmodern world in which experience and self affirmation is key, the product’s emotional attraction. The pitch here is to the employees in order to keep them from stealing the product.

I worked retail LP over a decade covering the entire southeast. It’s an interesting job but in this current age where the average dog shit person actually thinks the thieves are the ones that are right…..I’m so glad I changed careers. Too many people confuse store policy with law. Policy is the shit she’s spouting. Law is if you concealed it you stole it and the store employee can hold you until police arrive and if you hit them it’s felony robbery. Policies are what say “don’t touch only observe” The law is different.
