Please be careful. The only reason historians differentiate between black and Khoisan, is when comparing them to Nguni and Sotho peoples. Yes, there is a genetici difference BUT: The idea that there was never intermarriage between Bantu people and Khoi, as well as ignoring that ALL people come from Khoisan, INCLUDING black people is a racist narrative and has an undercurrent of people trying to claim sole rights to the land through mental gymnastics. I'm Coloured and part Khoi but I DO NOT support this centralising of Coloured people as the only Khoi, while leaving out our black relatatives who would have been part Khoi LONG before us. It is usually flouted by the kind of white person who won't admit their OWN Khoi blood but want to weapons Coloured pain in order to pit us against our black family. This idea of "The Bantu Expansion" being a threat to the Khoi is largely an apartheid one.

I do not understand when you say you have to have dark skin to be considered “black”.. their are many that do not have that trait but are indeed “black” - this is a term created by those wanting to create a hierarchy where the term “white would be deemed superior. For starters, it is indeed a scientific fact that the only people that are aboriginal and or Indigenous to Africa are those we would consider Black Africans. The only skin tone that is considered Indigenous or Aboriginal to Africa would be what we deem the Black skin tone range. What we consider Black people have a wide range and variation in skin pigmentation ranging from actual dark brown to very light brown.F.Y.I both the Khoi and San people tend to be in the mid browk to dark brown range of what we deem as the Black skin tone range. Much like race was a white supremacy creation, so was much of the way we describe skin color of people. The first inhabitants of North Africa were undoubtedly what we would consider Black Africans, there is no debating this. Some of the actual Black North Africans still exist. As for the Egyptians, they too have their roots from Black Africans and we indeed would have consided the first people of the Kemitic people Black. Later, there was clearly an influx of what we would consider non Black people who came to the region through various circumstances. To the actual topic of the video, we indeed classify the Khoi and San people as Black by all definitions.

Despite the heavy media spin, the khoi are usually on the darker end of the Black skin tone spectrum and the San are in the middle of the Black skin tone range. As for South Africa, white people tried to recatagorize the khoi and San people to undermine Black people and Black unity, to eradicate the khoi and San people, and to manipulate and rewrite Black African history. But when they were killing them off in South Africa they referred to them as Negros, Negroid i.e. Black people. They made sure we knew Sarah Barrtman was a female negroid with a large butt.

Yeah, we descendants of the mother land, who were raised up in America will look at the Khoi San and say they are black people because they have tightly curled hair. We identify ANYBODY with nappy hair as BLACK. It is a term of endearment, not meant to cause cultural harm. The Dravidians are blacker than many groups, but we would never call them "Black", yet the group of ancient blacks living on the Island close to them are definitely considered black, not only because of their very dark skin, but their hair is tightly curled. Us calling folks black, is showing a oneness with the ancient people of the continent, where blacks originated, even though we know the Khoi San are the lighter nation of people, they are still black to us, it's all love. They were separated, and Bantu is more of a cultural mindset. The unique structure, similar to Nilotic, is the universally accepted definition of African typhoid.
