Here is a rundown of some of the features and design of the KICKER ankle kit. We put a lot of thought into this kit to try and fix some of the other problems that we found with some of the other kits on the market.

The KICKER is Six Echo’s ankle medical kit. Made in Tennessee with quality materials, these kits are the most comfortable ankle kit on the market in our opinion. This kit is made of 3mm Neoprene which sits snug against your leg to reduce the chance for blisters and add padding to keep the contents from digging into your leg. The pouches are made of quality elastic with adjustable Velcro straps. The pockets sizes and dimensions were designed to be able to carry a wide variety of items and not be limited to any particular setup. There are endless possibilities of how you can set up this kit and it's not limited to just medical supplies.

Due to the kind of jeans I wear I doubt an ankle kit would ever be an option, but I do like the idea !

An option is to use a TRex Arms sidecar to carry the TQ and then run Quikclot and Chest seals in the ankle kit. It’s super slim at that point and can be worn with most skinny jeans. Just an option.

If it's skinny jeans you wear, ditch them. If they don't flex, imagine having to do martial arts, or having to move/run effectively. If you have the knowledge, not carrying medical is practically a dereliction of duty.

Do you recommend wearing longer inseam pants to prevent ride up when sitting? I wear jeans that fit fine inseam wise, but my ankle starts to show when sitting. It isn’t much of an issue with my other ankle kits since the jean has a large cuff opening so it slides right over the kit when standing up, but wondering what experience you’ve had with this. Thanks!

How wide are the pockets can I fit an olaes in one? They are kinda bulky. 4" wide. Can't find dimension specs anywhere.

The middle pocket is 3.25" wide but has a bit more elastic so it can take items a bit wider than that. I have not tested the OLAES since they are quite bulky but I think it would fit in the center pocket just fine. It would just be harder to conceal than a smaller pressure bandage.

It does fit the regular OLAES. But yes very bulky. Kinda impractical. If pocket was wide enough for an OLED flat pack would be perfect. Don't need the trauma sheers pocket because I carry a Leatherman trauma sheers. I can't imagine anyone spending the money for a good ankle kit not having the raptor, or Sog's version instead of the standard cheapy shears. But that is just my perspective. Ah well still a much more comfortable upgrade from my dark angel medical ankle kit. Thanks guys! (And gals if ya got any working there.)

To clarify that is my perspective of privilege. Quite possible that someone spends all they can afford just for one ankle kit because they believe it is worth it. I wish everyone had and was properly trained to carry a ankle kit. 3 R's reading, wRiting, & medical rescue.

How does this work with cowboy boots? I like the idea just wondering people's experiences! Also do you ship to Canada? And if not why does no one? Is there a legal reason?

Depends on how much you put in the kit. I wear it with zip-up duty boots and its snug but it works. I know people that wear it with cowboy boots and it works for them but you have to slim the kit down and only run the basics. We also have a video that shows a way to fold the CAT tourniquet very slim and I recommend that for carrying in this kit. Just got mine last week and with smallish calfs and boot cut jeans it hides very well. However I do run a pretty slim setup of a Soft-w tourniquet folded flat, 2 packs of combat gauze, an npa and a chest decomp needle
